Conman from Mudah! Abdul Samad Habeebullah

Last sunday ( 27th April 2014 ) i purchased a used macbook pro from Mudah with this guy. Due to the COD location is far from me, i am from kl and he is from perak, thats why i trusted this guy and banked in RM2700 for him. The conversation that we had seems to be genuine as I did ask why is he selling his new version macbook pro 15 inch at the discounted price. Then he told me his project is finishing soon thats why selling. So, i had no doubt on it and proceed with the payment and wait for his product.

I banked in RM2700 into his Hong Leong bank account, A/C number: 26950056476, Abdul Samad Habeebullah, on the day itself 27th April 2014. He did promise the next day will courier the product to me. So on the next day, 28th april 2014 ( monday ), he texted me the ABX tracking code: 7600523809 at 1pm. And immediately i check online see whether can be traced or not. Unfortunately the code is not in the system and I did ask again for clarification and i was told again to check after 5pm. Then the whole day the code that he provided did not show in the system, then i started to feel suspicious on the deal. After all i calmed myself down as usually it takes 24 hours to get the product delivered, so i waited until the next day. Still the product is not delivered. I called to him, never answer call but his phone is reachable. I texted him to ask for the receipt then he said will email me but until today has not received yet.

After that i am getting worried that i might be conned. Then i ask my friend to text him ask about the availability of the macbook then he replied YES! From that moment onwards, I can feel the deal is almost under the water and doesn't seem to be genuine anymore. So I check on Mudah again about his post, and he kept on advertising everyday! I mean new post for everyday!

Since my calls and messages are being ignored, and i believe this guy is still conning around Mudah. Yesterday, Wednesday (30th April 2014), i called to ABX express to double confirm the tracing code and the person in charged told me its CONFIRMED that the code is not genuine. So, I'm 100% sure that i have been conned. His phone was not reachable since yesterday evening until now, I believe he took my money and ran away.

I have the evidence of bank in receipt, our conversation and also the printed screen of his Mudah's ads. What can I do now? can i make a police report and get my money back?If police are willing to help me? or can they do something on it? Im very frustrated and upset and also feel helpless. This is my hard earned money and I'm not willing to accept that my money has just gone like that. Can anyone give me suggestion or what to do next? Thanks a lot.
