Car Overheat

So today I was stuck in jam in KL, about 45mins. The temperature rise until the 1st boundary of red line?(i dont know how to describe it, see attachment, please click the image to enlarge), and the aircond began to not cold anymore.

So, upon reaching this 1st boundary of red line, I know sure cant tahan anymore and I stop roadside and went to mamak to eat and came back after 20mins. Then I realize that water inside the spare tank has spilled out (water inside boiled until max) and all those rusty brown colour water has all spilled out, meaning the spare tank has no more water already.

So out of panic I went and add room temperature drinking water (not warm/hot, but also not cold) and fill the spare tank until max, and the spare tank was still hot - I can see "smokes/fumes" coming out when I poured water into spare tank.

So now I have 3 questions:

1) I know pouring water to the radiator directly when the radiator is still hot is definitely a big no (due to sudden huge temperature difference which will spoil the radiator), how about spare tank? Did I done the wrong thing? Will it spoil my radiator?

2) I found that the radiator fan is running but the other fan (condenser fan?) is not running when I turn on my aircond. Could this be the problem? Or is this because of due to zero coolant (I never added coolant to my car, only water) / rusty water?

3) Now my car has returned to normal already, so far my temperature is ok, but how do I know if there is any damage done to the car etc? Will my situation cause any damage to car? (temperature went up to 1st boundary of red line, spare tank water boiled until all spilled out)
I always heard that overheat will cause gasket burnt, engine burnt etc which will result in thousands of ringgit of overhaul work......I'm very afraid of that, its my only car and I have no large amount of cash now......

Btw, my car is Nissan Sunny 130Y.

Which mid-tier audit firm is best?

Looking for intern now, a little bit about myself, 3rd year accounting degree with 3.6 CGPA from a somehow reputable local U.

People say I should go for intern at Big 4, 1stly my internship duration is 6 months and it poses advantage over other uni (2~3 months which is less preferable for the firm to hire), 2ndly my CGPA is not that bad after all although not of top notch.

But many of my relatives, parents' friends (some of them actually worked in Big 4 before) told me that although in terms of career advancement Big 4 is very promising and polishes the resume, but not good if I'm seeking for work-life balance. They told me that it would be better to be in mid-tier audit firms such as BDO, Baker Tilly, Mazars, Crowe Horwath, Moore Stephens. They told me that indeed every audit firms are having long working hours, but at least the stress, workload and working hours is not so crazy at mid-tier firms if compared to Big 4, at the same time able to gain exposure (various sectors and also listed companies) and somehow looks still ok in resume if I would like to jump into commercial line in the future.

Just to note that I'm the kind of person that does not seeks maximum profit but rather a steady increment and also work-life balance. E.g. Earning 10k per month by mid 30s is not my target. Would instead ok to be earning 6k per month at mid 30s but not having deteriorated life quality and health condition throughout my 20s. (Figures are just for comparison, please don't bash me on the inaccuracy of figures )

To add on, I would say that I do not plan to stay in audit line for too long, probably 2 or 3 years I would like to jump to commercial line.

So I wonder, which mid-tier audit firm is best? Seems like BDO is the 5th largest audit firm in Malaysia and more well-known, but when I do my research some of the forumer mentioned it treats employees like slaves as well. In fact I did quite alot of research myself particularly in Lowyat forum, but many of the comments and threads are quite outdated. I wonder in current context (2017), which mid-tier firm is the best choice? In terms of work-life balance and also recognition/reputation (in resume).

And would appreciate if someone could verify the extent of truth of the statement that mid-tier firms has less stress and workload but still looks ok in resume when I want to jump into commercial line in future as well.

Pain in middle of foot

I am having pain in top of middle-right of right foot (see attachment picture) since middle of October (1 and half months ago).

It is a sudden pain, last from few seconds to few minutes typically, except for 1 time that it lasted for almost half an hour.

It can happen 1 or 2 times to 10 times within a day, or alternately. (i.e. Monday occurs once, Tuesday nothing, Wednesday occurs again).

Nothing triggers it, it can happen very very randomly, no matter I am lying down (but never occurs when sleeping), sitting down, standing or walking. It can also happens randomly throughout the day, no matter morning, noon, afternoon or night.

I DO NOT have any injury/trauma in past few months (at least 1 month), and I NEVER played any sort of sports in past few months as well (by any sports I mean even running).

The area which has pain appears to be normal, nothing wrong when touched, not hot, no swelling, not even painful when touched, pain does not become worse even i touch when the symptoms occurs. No change in skin colour as well. Other parts of foot is normal, no pain.

After around 3 weeks the symptoms persists, I went to a GP. GP tells me it is just tendonitis, despite I stressed that I did not have injury/trauma. Gave me Meloxicam, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone to relief the pain.

After eating consecutively 3 days of the medications didn't have any symptoms occurring anymore. Day 4 I stop the medicine, Day 5 it reoccurs again.

So, I went to an orthopedics specialist. At 1st the specialist suspect of bone tumor. Took X-rays of the foot and shows nothing wrong. Everything was normal. So the specialist told me that most probably it is not bone tumor, but MRI will provide more assurance. At this moment he can't make any diagnosis and don't know what medical condition I am having. But he did note that even after doing MRI it might be just the same - no diagnosis.

Since MRI in private hospital is expensive, I decided to go to UM hospital. Also for 2nd opinion. Similarly, no diagnosis is given, but one of the doctor walking around pointed out the possibility of Cuboid Syndrome. They ordered a blood test to rule out inflammations, gout etc. When I asked is MRI useful in making diagnosis for hard to detect bone tumor, they say that the possibility of having bone tumor is unlikely, less than 1 %. So do blood test 1st, and come back in 2 weeks time.

After few days (which is 1 month after the very 1st onset of symptoms), the symptoms stopped to occur without any trigger. However, certain posture of bending the foot in certain angle, it will somehow trigger the symptoms but only for brief period, only for few seconds, and the pain is less severe. I went to the follow up visit and the blood test results were normal. No gout, no inflammation, nothing irregular. The doctor told me that it is a good thing that the symptoms is improving, showing that it is less likely indicating severe problem such as malignant bone tumor/cancer. Then he just discharged me but told me to come back if condition changed. When I asked what is the diagnosis, he say not sure, he will just write "soft tissue injury" in the report.

So, at this moment, my condition remains the same after the initial improvement - certain posture of bending the foot in certain angle will somehow trigger the symptoms but only for brief period, only for few seconds, which is less severe compared to the initial condition. However I still fail to grasp the angle/posture of bending the foot that will trigger the pain - I tried to do the same posture again intentionally but no pain. Maybe the angle wasn't perfectly right.

So, wondering, anyone here can enlighten me? Worried that it could be a rare form of malignant bone tumor/cancer. Any good specialist that is able to find the cause of the problem?

Changing Seatbelt

Having a Nissan Sunny 130Y. Both sides of my seatbelts are not retracting anymore and also jammed, so obviously need to change the seatbelt.

Was thinking when it comes to safety equipment it is better to get original parts. Sadly when I went to Nissan service centre and ask, they say already stop manufacturing such old car parts.

The Nissan SC instead suggest me to go and find half cut/ potong shops.

So I went to an accessories shop and was quoted RM 300 for both sides, including installation. They say the seatbelt is from half cut shop.

Went to another accessories shop, they suggested why not modify universal seatbelt or proton seatbelt?

Went to 3rd accessories shop, they say no we accessories shop don't do this, go and find workshop (foreman).

I wonder is half cut seatbelt, universal/modified seatbelt is reliable in terms of safety? If so which is more reliable, a used half cut ori seatbelt, or a new universal/modified seatbelt? And the price.........RM 300 for both sides including installation, wouldnt it sound abit cheap? Since safety is in stake, I wouldnt want to be a cheapo.

Or better still, is there any OEM manufacturer that still manufactures seatbelt for Nissan Sunny, or any spare part shops still has stock for Nissan Sunny ori seatbelt?

And is accessories shop the right place to change seatbelt? Or should I find workshop (foreman) instead? Which is more reliable?

Or any professional seatbelt installer around Klang Valley area?

Lastly is it possible to also install seatbelt for rear seats in Nissan Sunny?

Being snapped IC picture for prepaid registration

Just went to a retailer to register a new Tunetalk prepaid pack. The retailer snapped my IC picture (front) via an apps which is used for registration purpose.

Immediately I question him why you need to snap my IC picture......he claimed that this is a new instruction from MCMC and Tunetalk, nowadays every telco also need to snap IC only can finish registration process. Regarding the MCMC instruction part I googled later on MCMC website and I found that there was indeed such circular issued on 1 June 2017 (https://www.mcmc.gov.my/skmmgovmy/media/General/pdf/Prepaid-Registration-Guidelines-MCMCG0117.pdf).

He further assured me not to worry by showing me the cross/palang "Tunetalk only" at the picture snapped. Apparently any picture taken via the apps would have a cross/palang "Tunetalk only" at the left top/ right top corner (can't recall), its like a default background/ filter. (Don't know whats the exact word)

He also assured to me that the dealer will not be able to retrieve the picture later since it is not stored locally, it is sent directly to Tunetalk server.

Any Tunetalk dealer here can confirm on this? Really worried that my IC would be misused.........dont want to go through the hassle of finding myself having debts/ became a criminal suspect without my knowledge later, have to go report police, have to find Michael Chong for help, have to go here and there.......wasting my time and money to prove my innocence
