Malaysian region format with English language

NOTE: THIS ONLY WORKS ON JAILBROKEN DEVICES. YOU CANNOT MODIFY SYSTEM FILES IF YOU ARE NOT JAILBROKEN.

Normally, if you try to set the region format to Malaysia, you're limited to Malay or Arabic. After fiddling around with some system files, I've found a way to have English language with Malaysian region format. The main advantage for me is that it searches via google.com.my instead of google.com, and in my experience the .my site provides more relevant results, particularly when searching for addresses (e.g. if you search for "Times Square" on Google.com, the first result is the one in New York. With Google.com.my, the first result is Berjaya Times Square). I believe little things like that can save you a lot of time in the long run.

WARNING: YOU WILL BE MODIFYING SYSTEM FILES IN THIS TUTORIAL, SO PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG.

Here's how it's done:

1. Install iFile from Cydia.
2. Open iFile, go to the settings (gear icon on the bottom left) >File Manager > Hidden Files. Flip the switch to on.
2. Using iFile, navigate to /var/mobile/Library/Preferences
3. Open .GlobalPreferences.plist with the Property List Viewer
4. Changle the AppleLocale value from 'ms_MY' to 'en_MY'.
5. Tap 'Done' on the top right.
6. Respring or reboot your device, and voila!

If enough people are interested and I have the time, I might consider making this a Cydia tweak so it can be done in a couple clicks.
