Hi LYN sisters,

As my topic title, I need help and suggestion from you all for my significant other upcoming birthday. Am at lost and don't know what to buy.

What do you guys buy/make for your other half on his special day?

I have been considering to buy a Swarovski pen or a hand made present.
Swarovski pen was something he wanted long ago, but he is the careless type always losing things.
Hand made is because he thinks its much more special and economical. I have hand made tonnes of stuff previously and have no more ideas what to make anymore.

Or do LYN sisters have any other reccomendation? As for guys, what type of birthday present will you guys prefer?
Thanks for the help.

[WTA] My laptop always lag

Hi all sifus,

During the past months my laptop have been increasingly lagging. Sometimes just a short 1 minute lag. Extreme cases have lags last as long as 5 minutes.

Specs and info:

[attachmentid=4014526]

[attachmentid=4014529]

[attachmentid=4014531]

I am totally clueless as to where the problem lies. I only use the laptop to do simple stuff like surfing, download and watching movie, microsoft word, and play games.

If possible, I do not wish to reformat my laptop.

Also, advance thanks for your patience if I do not understand the terms and slangs used.
Need help! Sharp LED 840X series.

Hi all sifus, I just recently bought a Sharp LED tv (LE840X)

Before making the purchase, I asked the salesperson if all the cable will be included with the tv set and she said yes.
When the delivery came, I was not at home but the installation and everything was supervised by parents. However when I reached home I was told that the HDMI cable is not included with the tv set and I have to pay additional money for the cable itself.

So my question is: To you guys who have purchased any LED tv from Sharp, did you guys get the HDMI cable or do you have to buy it yourself?

I made the purchase at Courts.
