Can anybody suggest to me "cleaning" agents for my drum set? I would like to polish my hardware and cymbals and wipe my drum set. Would regular car polish work on the cymbals and hardware, and wet cloth enough for wiping my drum set clean?

Dell XPS

The monitor part of my three-year old Dell XPS cannot be pushed down without having it make some "splitting" sound and "exposing" the insides of the right hinge and part of the monitor closest to the said hinge.

What would be the next best action? Should I get a Dell warranty and then send my laptop to Dell for repairs? Should I just risk it and send it to a regular PC repair store?
