SATA SSD vs M.2 SSD

Hello, I wish to install a new SSD on my Desktop, XPS 8930. Don't look at the price for this discussion.

I just want to know which SSD (SATA or M.2) will be more reliable and last longer? Speed wise for sure M.2 is the fastest, but even SATA SSD is fast enough for normal use and gaming. Thing is, the M.2 will be attached on the motherboard. I heard that thing heat up quickly and I am afraid the heat will affect the motherboard. Or is my XPS 8930 desktop has enough cooling? On the other hand, SATA SSD is not placed on motherboard and generate less heat. I assume SATA SSD is more reliable?

I want to buy a leather wallet worth more than RM500 from US. Delivery to Malaysia is the only option, how do I avoid custom duties? I learn that goods worth RM500 will be imposed by custom duties. Can I ask the seller to send personally and write as gift to avoid that? Or write a lower price on invoice? Please help. Thanks.

(Want to Know) Overseas study scholarship

Hi guys,

I am planning to do Degree in Mechatronic Engineeting. I just graduated with Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Plan to continue Degree as soon as possible.
I have found free education on German, but I will have to cover up living expenses myself which is rather expensive. Do Malaysia have any scholarship to cover that?
I am interested in studying in Japan and Taiwan too. How and where to apply for the scholarship to study in Japan and Taiwan? I found a scholarship for study in Taiwan, but the application deadline seems to be on March which is over. I am not sure about Japan though.
I heard about China too, and their living expenses and study fees are cheaper than in Malaysia. But I am afraid of the black-hearted foods there.
Please help me on this and tell me details like should I take up foreign language course or examinations before applying and so. You are welcome to suggest other countries not mentioned as well. Keep in mind that I am not from a rich family so I need scholarship to aid me in fees and living expenses.
Thanks.

Anker vs Aukey

Hi, please help here. I am currently looking to buy power bank and charger. I know Anker products is reliable but not sure about Aukey which is cheaper. I have doubt about the chargers. Anker powerport 2 charger has two pin plug, is it compatible with Malaysia socket? And Anker powerport 5 has two pin or three pin plug? If two pin, is it compatible with Malaysia socket? I believe from pictures I see, Aukey charger has three pin plug(correct me if I am wrong), is it compatible with Malaysia socket?
For powerbank, I am choosing between Anker Power Core 20100 and Anker Power Core+ 13400(if the quick charger is compatible with Malaysia socket). Another option is Aukey quick charge 16000. Who have experience with these products especially the Aukey one.
Anker vs Aukey, which one is better?

Hiking boots

Recently I read a topic at this forum. It says that there might be replica of backpack. So I am thinking about my hiking boots, Salomon X Ultra Mid 2 GTX. I purchased it from Urban Adventure at Mid Valley. I want to ask if the store is selling original or replica boots. Though I am sure it isn't a fake one. Fake one cannot waterproof. The boots are doing well. Since they said replica is almost like original so I cannot differentiate. I can see all the words on the boots are identical and very clear. Only the marking of tread pattern on right boot is more clear compared to the left one for the outer side. Just slightly not sure. Last time when I check out Timberland Chocorua GTX at Timberland store, Pavillion. The marking and word on the outsole is not clear for the display model, I am sure it is not original one. Even in authorised dealer store? But that is for display model, I didn't ask them to take from their store room. For my boots, at the time I purchase them. I did ask what if the boots broke or the material came off, they said you can return it and they will see if they can contact the Salomon company. I think I bought the original one since it is doing well, just curious on original vs replica.

About Mech. Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Hi, I'm choosing a career between Mechanical and Civil Engineering to study at Degree level.
Basically, they says Mechanical Engineers are the one who design all kind of moving things. Let's say I like cars and very interested in all kind of things about cars from engine, bodywork to suspension or even more. So a Mechanical engineer design specification of engine or something about that. But in Malaysia, I search through Jobstreet and found that the job offered here are mostly about designing parts like fastener, screw, tools.... Something really small like that, would I have a chance of working in big industry in Malaysia. Or can a Degree level get you a job overseas? And fellow engineers, what you really do in Malaysia? Do you have friends who get job at overseas?
You see, I like cars the most but really no automotive R&D department in Malaysia, cancel Proton. That's why planning on taking Mechanical Engineering(low risk). Or should I go to overseas studying Automotive Engineering? Like Japan? And recommended University? Anybody have been there studying and got what job later?
And about civil engineering, I see them just drafting the structure and I felt it was easier than Mechanical Engineering. And I really like building design also. That's Architect but I felt like Architect in Malaysia didn't get good benefit.
I like the idea of creating something like product, cars, building.Really have no idea on deciding which one to study. By the way, is UCSI university good on teaching engineering?

Please guide me on choosing career.

Now I'm choosing career for May intake. Which career is better? I'm gonna take foundation then degree, it will take 4 years, then I'll be graduated at 2017. And at that time, can you guys predict which career has more benefit. You see, I want to study architecture because I want to design or make something. But when I see architecture hard to get job, IT software is my 2nd choice because nowadays all about technology. I don't know I will like the coding of IT or not, but you sure can get a job. If architecture, I like the idea of design or make something, but I don't know if I can do it or not.(or if people can accept my idea or not).... And architecture really less job, and most company prefer experienced candidate.

I like design job, just Malaysia take no good care on designer. Or do you guys think at year 2017, the design job/ architecture.would be better that time? Cos Malaysia is abit leading to design industry also I think.

So, guys, please guide me. I'm total loss.
