If you read reviews on Fragrantica or Amazon about this perfume, it seems like as though a lot of males wear it based on what the reviewers post. Your girlfriend's ex-boyfriend has it, your father wears it, your friend wears it, and your friend's father has it too. But I don't smell it much on guys.

What do you think? You know anyone that wears this perfume? It's Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani, google it if you do not know which eau de toilette is this.

And for Streamyx 1MB package, is it better to have separate modem and separate router, or is it better to go for 2-in-1(modem+router combo)?

My setup is like this: I connect my desktop PC to the router using Ethernet wired connection, and I need WiFi for one laptop and two smartphones.

Where to buy Creative and Altec Lansing speakers?

I'm looking for new computer speakers, either 2.0 or 2.1 system. I'm not considering Edifier and Logitech. But these two brands are the ones which are the most common and many computer shops have them.

I'm instead looking at these brands: i) Creative ii) Altec Lansing iii) Cyber Acoustics iv) Yamaha (do Yamaha still produce speakers for computers?)

But most of the big computer shops like All-IT don't seem to have these brands. Which shop have these brands (i-iv) around Klang Valley/PJ/KL?

I'm a uni student. I notice most of the girls I personally know and girls that I see on social media(Facebook and Instagram), they can be classified as middle class or higher, in terms of their lifestyle.

Especially when looking at their Instagram. Seeing pictures of the food that they eat at cafes and shopping malls, places that they go for vacations, clothes that they wear, I can judge that they have a comfortable life. Most of these girls also got their own car, sometimes not just a Myvi or Saga (which for me are already quite good cars for a young adult to drive), some of these girls could be driving a Toyota Vios/Honda City/Ford Fiesta/Suzuki Swift. Their parents also probably drive a Camry/Accord/Mercedes/BMW/Audi.

I bet with you, that there's a huge chance that these kind of girls don't know how to cook and do housework and that they have one or more of these characteristics: (i) Princess and spoiled child attitude (ii) Pampered lifestyle, any latest gadgets or accessories that they ask for, they would get because parents would buy for them (iii) thinking that they are very pretty and a lot of boys would want them (IV) arrogant and think that they are very good in what they do.

Where did all the humble girls go? Girls whose parents only drive a Proton or at most a Japanese car. Girls that don't have all the fancy pictures of food and whatever on Instagram. Girls who have a nice attitude, decent and down-to-earth. Girls that sit public transport or parents fetch them to school/university. Girls that help their parents/grandparents with household chores and can cook not because they want to show off or attract guys, but because they were taught by their parents/grandparents how to cook.

Where did these kind of girls go to? These good girls are my type. If I look for a girlfriend or wife, I would want a girl like that.

There was one day that I was wearing this particular eau de toilette (EDT). I only used one spray on my neck.

I was eating lunch with two friends at a table in a restaurant. So while halfway eating, two girls came and sit at the table next to us. The tables weren't very close to each other, so these two girls were not that close to us. The distance between me and the girls I estimate to be around 6-7 feet long.

When the two girls sat down, the first girl said something like this 'It smells a bit like a toilet here'. I'm not sure what the second girl replied. Then the first girl smelled her hair. And that's all. After that I couldn't hear what they were saying because the restaurant was noisy.

I was quite shocked. I'm guessing that the first girl smelled her hair to check if the smell is coming from her hair. But I'm guessing that the smell that they thought was a toilet smell came from me. It definitely wasn't from the air around us, because when me and my friends sat down at the table, there was no smell in the air, only the smell of food.

It was the first time I was wearing this EDT (Dior Homme), and to me it smells very nice. Many reviews on the internet says it smells good too. But after this comment from that girl, who is also quite attractive, I was quite shocked. My confidence dropped a bit after I heard that. I am usually confident with myself, but after hearing that comment, especially since it came from an attractive girl, I'm having doubts to continue wearing this.

I reasoned with myself that it was probably a coincidence and that they weren't talking about my EDT, plus I was wearing only one spray and the smell couldn't have reached until so far. Anyone used this EDT before?

This EDT is known for it's iris note. It might smell feminine or like a lipstick to some people. If I heard that I smelled feminine or smelled like a lipstick, I probably wouldn't mind. But saying that the EDT smelled like a toilet, that's the first time I've heard of such a thing. When they said toilet smell, I imagine that they don't mean the smell of pee or poop. Toilet smell in this case probably meant those toilet perfume, handwash, stuff like that

I think a lot of pretty amois don't like the smell of some popular Eau De Toilette such as Armani Acqua di Gio and Chanel Bleu. For example, to them, these two might smell a bit too manly/generic/strong. I'm not generalizing, it's just my opinion.

Anyway, I only mentioned amois because I'm attracted to them and I want to know what they like in a perfume.

I asked three female amoi friends of mine who I am close to, about what kind of smell they like on a guy. All three of them say they prefer if a guy doesn't wear any perfume/cologne/eau de toilette. So I can't really ask their opinion about what kind of EDT that they like to smell on a guy because they are not familiar with men's EDT. I ask here instead.

I think amois would prefer something like Dior Homme.

In your experience, can you share what EDT's that amois have said they like or complimented you while you were wearing it?

Few months ago, I met up with four of my friends for dinner at a restaurant, all guys. So total five guys including me. We knew each other in secondary school. It has been few years since we left secondary school, so we don't see each other often anymore. We met up to catch up with each other, talk about stuff, and to just chit chat, have fun, and eat dinner together. The relationship I have with these four guys is mentioned in the spoiler below.

Anyway, by the time we decided to leave and go back home, it was close to 11.30 p.m. As we left the restaurant, we hang out for a while more outside the restaurant, talking about what we are going to do when we get back home. Two of them said they are going to play computer, one said he's going to sleep, and another one said he's just going to relax at home. So actually they are not in a rush to get home. It was also a Friday night, there are no classes the next day.

I don't have a car, so my parents had to fetch me back. Took out my phone to call them, then realized I forgotten to top-up, so I couldn't make any calls. I said out loud 'Oh no, I have no more credit'. None of them heard me. Two of them were looking elsewhere, the other two were still chatting. Had to ask one of them personally to borrow his phone, and then I called my parents hand phone. No answer. So I thought ok, maybe they are already sleeping. My brother had an event to attend, so I couldn't call him to ask him to pick me up.

So I said out loud 'I don't have transport back'. If you guys notice, I did not ask them to fetch me back, I just said I don't have transport to go back home. I thought maybe one of them would offer me a lift if I mentioned that I had no transport. But none of them replied. Our houses aren't very far from each other, because we are from within the same general housing area. So it's not really troublesome to give me a lift.

So I had to again personally ask the guy who lent me his phone, for a lift back. His parents is the one who's gonna fetch him back too. But he was quite hesitant, replying to me 'Not sure if got space in the car'. Then I didn't know what to say anymore. But in the end, his parents came, there was space in the car, and so they gave me a lift back, and I got back home safely.

I was just damn angry and disappointed after that. From that point onwards, I knew these four weren't true friends of mine. Friends are supposed to help each other when they have problems right? At that time, I couldn't make a phone call, I had no transport back home, I definitely needed help, but they did not offer me any help. So from then on, I knew that these four people are not my true friends at all.

I did not ask for my friends directly for a lift back because I thought my bro or my parents would call me soon, and ask what time would I be back. Then I would ask them to fetch me home. So I thought of waiting for a while more. My friends were waiting with me too, but they were just chatting about stuff. Then it was getting late and they decided to head home. And then I thought I had been waiting for a bit too long already, so then only I decided to ask one of the friend for a lift back. Contrary to what some of you think, I wasn't acting like a girl, trying to give hints and testing the water or whatever nonsense. At that time, I never thought of asking directly my friends for a lift, because I thought I could get back on my own.

The main point is: Seeing my situation, with no working phone, no transport, and having to wait until dunno what time, alone at night, surely any of the four friends could have offered me a lift back? Especially since three of them had their own car. If they were my true friends, I don't even need to ask them. Surely they would have took the initiative to offer me a lift after seeing the situation I am in. That's how a real friend should be, helping a friend who's in trouble. Is this called expecting too much? Seeing all the replies makes me wonder what kind of friends you all have

EDIT: I changed my first post a bit, highlighting in bold the part that I want you all to read. My original post had so many people confused, thinking that I have no balls to ask my friends directly for a lift, hence all the same type of replies.

By the way, I have other good friends as well. There's one time I went to this friend's house, and then when I am about to go home, he asked me how am I going back. I said I would walk, which is fine for me because his house is nearby to mine. He offered me a lift even though I didn't even ask. This is an example of a good friend.

For me, I'm the type that would ask my friends whether they have reached home safely after an event or gathering. And I would keep chatting with them and said I had a good time and if can, we shall meet up again.

These four people didn't even bothered to ask how am I, in fact I have never heard from them already since that gathering till now. I am also definitely sure that those four do not interact much among themselves too after this gathering.

I think in conclusion, the 5 of us aren't very close to each other after all.

UTAR is quite good

UTAR, which stands for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, is building a new campus in Sungai Long, Kajang and it would be ready by May 2015, based on the advertisement that I have seen that advertised their open day. So they would have 2 campuses, one in Sungai Long, Kajang and one in Kampar, Perak. I think they would close their two campuses in PJ and Setapak, Kuala Lumpur because these two campuses are shifting to the new one in Sungai Long, Kajang.

Actually, why the not so good perception of UTAR? Where does your negative views of this university come from? From what I see, it's quite a good uni, in fact now you need to go through an interview after being shortlisted before you can do your degree program at UTAR.

When I was in Form 5 in secondary school, I had a schoolmate who was the tokoh pelajar (top student overall of my batch, she was in the sub-science stream), and right after finishing secondary school, she went to do foundation in UTAR and is now doing accounting in UTAR Kampar. I have another friend who was from my school's class 5SC1 (5 Science 1, do you know what that means? Yes, the first pure science class, basically the top class in Form 5) and he is also doing accounting at UTAR Kampar. I also know a senior who is doing engineering in UTAR, and he is quite a bright student.

Don't look down on UTAR just because it's cheaper than the rest. Do u all think that cheap things are not good? Don't think like that. Be more humble. And there are probably many bright but not well-off students in UTAR too, who couldn't get into public uni, and whose results are excellent, but not super excellent or just fall short of the requirements to get a scholarship. But they are still considered smart. So they end up in UTAR due to financial constraints

Why choose accounting in Sunway

Why do students who have finished their STPM/A-levels choose to study accounting in Sunway? The course that Sunway actually offers is Accounting and Finance, I mean it's not Bachelor in Accounting, it's Bachelor in Accounting & Finance. The course fees in Sunway for this program is close to RM100,000. Sunway is famous for ACCA, and not their degree for Accounting. ACCA is a totally different thing from a degree in Accounting.

Why not choose HELP University's Bachelor in Accounting? The fees in HELP university is only about RM50,000. Why not choose UTAR's Bachelor in Accounting(3 years or 4 years, u get to choose), which is only about RM40,000. Why not choose INTI, which is I think cheaper than Sunway too (I'm not sure about INTI's fees though). Sunway is known for their ACCA, not their degree in accounting and finance

Which university is better for engineering

There are of course a lot of other better universities overseas and locally for engineering courses. But let's just take these two universities and compare them, which one is better overall for their engineering course? To be more specific, their mechanical engineering course

Mechanical engineering in MMU would be in it's Malacca campus, while for UTAR, it would be at it's Setapak, Kuala Lumpur campus.

MMU stands for Multimedia University, while UTAR stands for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman

Edit: What I wrote above has outdated information. Now, UTAR's engineering courses would be at it's new Sungai Long campus starting in May 2015

Why no one choose Curtin for accounting degree

Curtin University Sawarak is 3-years program for Accounting & Finance. RM19,696 per annum (roughly RM60,000 for the whole course). Sunway University Accounting & Finance program is also 3-years. RM90,000. That's at least RM30,000 more expensive!

Of course, if you stay in Klang Valley, and u go to Sunway, u don't need to pay for accommodation. Curtin need to pay for accommodation. But after total up everything for Curtin, it comes up to about the same amount as Sunway. And, the main point is, Curtin is world-ranked, in the top 300. Sunway isn't even in the world ranking! So what if Sunway's Accounting & Finance program is twinning with Lancaster? When people ask u where u study, u would still have to say u are from Sunway, not Lancaster. It's just an extra certificate from Lancaster.

And this Lancaster is only in the top 200 in the world , not much different than Curtin. Lancaster University is definitely not London School of Economics (LSE) or University College London (UCL). It's not that prestigious.

Add-on: I'm referring to the degree program. ACCA in Sunway might be famous, but that's ACCA. Any centre can offer ACCA. Heck, even Kasturi Tuition Centre offers ACCA. ACCA is an external paper, after all. You can study for ACCA anywhere. Sunway is only a CENTRE FOR ACCA.

I'm talking about the Accounting & Finance degree program. Obviously a degree from Curtin would be better than a degree from Sunway right? If Sunway is cheaper, it's ok. But u are paying RM20,000 more for Sunway, compared to Curtin. Where's the logic in that? Maybe I'm not aware of something that Sunway offers that makes it more superior, like maybe more exemptions in ACCA papers or something, but Curtin is definitely more higher ranked in the world. Obviously when choosing a uni for a degree program, u would want to choose a uni that is more higher ranked right? And best part is, in this case, the higher ranked uni is cheaper

Which uni is better for engineering

Which local university is better for mechanical engineering, Multimedia University (MMU) or Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten)? There are other better uni's in Malaysia and other countries, of course. But let's just compare between these two. There might already be other threads that compared these two uni's for engineering, but they may be outdated information. I want the situation right now, in 2015. I want to hear the bad things and the disadvantages that these two uni's have. And which one is better overall

Engineering might not have many girls, but I know of some damn fine pretty girls in both of these uni's, doing engineering. Yes I'm not joking

MMU engineering entry requirements

So I have been looking around at local private universities entry requirements. I was taking a look at MMU's, and I happen to look at their engineering courses. You only need to pass A-levels/STPM, and can already enter. I thought it used to be at least minimum 3C's for A-levels/STPM then only you can study engineering in MMU?

People who study ICT or computer science

Those who take ICT, software engineering, programming, computer science, those kind of things, after you graduate and get a job, would the job mostly be something to do with computers? Must you sit down in front of a computer throughout your working hours?

I considering to study ICT in Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP). But I don't really know whether I should go for this course, or mechanical engineering instead. I love to play my computer(surf the web and play games), and I like to know about the latest computer hardware(graphic cards,processors etc.). I enjoy building a new rig. But I have zero knowledge about programming or coding or Java, C++ those stuff, and when I google and read about what is the syllabus for ICT in UTP which includes software-related stuff like networking or network security, I feel bored.

I also do not like to sit too long in front of my computer even though I like playing games, maximum I can tahan is about 3 hours, even with breaks in between.

Here is a link showing the syllabus for ICT in UTP. Looks so boring to me. I like to know stuff like what is the latest graphic card, GTX970, what is it's price, what manufacturer is the best. But the syllabus which includes things like artificial intelligence, wireless technology, data communications and networking, it doesn't sound interesting to me.

When finding for job for fresh graduate

Hello I need a quick answer please. Let's say now I'm still studying in university, and during the semester break which lasts for let's say 6 months, I decide to go work at a restaurant as a waiter/barista, and I apply for full-time position, that means I also get EPF, SOSCO, and then I have to open EPF and income tax. And this EPF account would stay with me forever and I won't be able to change it right?

And also, after I graduate and look for my first job as a fresh graduate, when the interviewers ask or when I need to fill up any forms, does that mean I must fill up the column for 'previous employers' too? What if I do not want to fill it up?
