Item(s) conditions: Used for around 1.5years. Still in good condition (no sign of wear on mouse) Cable of the mouse is slightly frayed at the USB connector

No sign of power on PC

Hello guys, I have a problem with my PC.

So recently my 6yr old PC has started to give me some difficulties when I want to turn it on, the problem is it randomly doesn't turn on. (note randomly)
Some days I turn it on there is no problem, everything is normal.
Some days I try to turn on the PC, it does not turn on (no sign of power when i press the power button, no fans no nothing), when this happens I will plug it in directly into wall socket, this sometimes turn the PC on but sometimes it does not work. Like now I'm using the PC normally, but maybe tomorrow when I try to turn on PC, it will need to go through many steps to try to get it to turn on (plug to wall socket, change extension etc.). I suspect is PSU problem.

Could it be that the PSU is getting old and failing? or could it be some other problem?
