Extrnal hard drive turn into recovery drive!Help!

Using windows 8.Wanted to create a recovery drive in my external hard drive.It was partitioned to D and E.I set the recovery drive to D and it WIPED OUT my entire drive.Now it just shows D with 30 gb of space with 900 gb of unallocated space shown in disk management.Any way to recover my partition?Has about 600 gb of data in it.I know there are many free program,but only recovers 2 or 3 gb of data.Have to pay full price of 70 to 80 USD to recover whole thing,cannot afford.Any free program to recommend?Or anyway to recover it without a program?plz help!!!!600 gb of data is very sakit hati

guys i really need your help.i just upgraded my phone to ios 7 yesterday,back it up but forgot to to transfer purchased app from my phone to my new laptop.I was using this private photo app

modem internet light always red

currently using streamyx 1 mbs package.installed middle of jan.very good no problem.then prob started after cny.the modem light alwiz red but dsl and wlan light green and stable.called mutiple times to tm.they say area no problem,port no problem,ran the ip config no lost packet so prob not modem problem.then thought maybe it was the splitter for my phone line and internet line issue.so i put the internet line directly into the port...still internet light red.then i read online said maybe my wireless phone signal messing with internet signal.since my phone just next to modem,i moved the modem into another room.still same thing.problem became worse since yest.can only online at most 20 minutes.then no internet connection again.usually after restart the modem...the connection can last 1 or 2 days...now not even 1/2 hours. any sifu got any solutions?i am using a dlink modem 2730e with windows 8 laptop.

was wondering if you gals can please recommend me some good asian skincare brand.previously was using suisse program and i love it so much.it was my first time using asian brand.from my research albion seems to be a pretty good brand.any other good ones?interested in getting whole set.cleanser,toner,moisturizers.i won't mind something a bit pricey,but no sk-II plz.i just have combo skin and blackheads.no major skin problems.thanks for your advice ya

I am using windows 7 premium with the latest firefox and adobe flash player.I was trying to watch the live olympic stream on nbc olympics website.The video wont play but the audio is fine and I can see images on the video timeline.I have already tried reinstalling 3 times the flash player.I can watch videos on youtube and other video site,so I am not sure what is the problem here.Can some sifu plz help.very desperate le

slow transfer of files between pc n external

Currently using:

Asus X42JR
Intel i7-740 QM
Windows 7 Home premium
2 GB ram
500 gb hdd

Just got this pc recently..was cuttin and pastin files from desktop to Samsung external and got shocked when I saw that it takes 5 min to transfer a 175 mb file and almost 16 minuted to transfer a 350 mb file is this normal for an asus laptop?my old dell inspiron 1420 can do both in less than minute is there any way to increase the speed?

So i just bought an asus x42j yest for RM 2799..the speakers of coz is very substandard so i was wondering if you guys can recommend a good external sepakers for me.preferbly something powerful and portable...budget about Rm 300 below..
i won;t mind getting a quality headphone..my current headphone when plugged in the audio quality is also significantly lesser than my old dell inspiron. The sound is very sharp and can;t really hear the bass.Will it happen to all headphone or zit my headphone no quality??

Defective Nvidia GPU Settlement Reached, Starting

I am sure as most forummer knows..a large portion of nvidia chips that was shipped in 2008 were defective and it cause numerous laptops using those GPU to malfunction. I am one of those poor souls affected (dell inspiron 1420) A few days ago it was reported that NVIDIA admitted their mistake and are preparing to reimburse those affected but sadly only for US residents.

i do not know what is the legal issues behind it, but i wonder why is the reimbursement not for all afffected consumers globally??

My laptop cd-rom is spoil and I don;t have an external. The academic book which I am buying comes with an installation CD so I was wondering can I ask my fren to rip it into soft copy n sent to me so that I can install it??

Dell Inspiron 1420 display driver error

Model :Dell Inspiron 1420
OS: Windows Vista Basic 64 bit
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5850 @ 2.16 GhZ
Video driver : NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
Bought : August 2008

This past few days the displays have been quite crazy such as weird colour spots or a few seconds of blank screen then normal again or it will restart itself. The same error msg 'display driver recovered from an unexpected shutdown' will show. I have research the forum and I realised the driver which I am using is problematic. I have updated the driver and BIOS and the same thing still happens. I just wanna ask all the sifus here if u have any advice on how to make the stupid laptop last at least 1 more year as I am currently saving money to get a new laptop. I guess the main problem of my laptop is overheating as it crashed b4 6 months ago and I sent it to fix,the technician increase the fan speed or something coz it become much louder and have been problem free since then. Currently my CPU temperature is average 51 C, is dat high?? if i used in air cond room will it extend my laptop life??

Btw. i dun use the laptop for gaming,only surfing,doing assignments and watching movie

I tried using Hotspot shield while under my hostel internet connection but it significantly reduces my internet speed...the pages took at least 5 minutes to load...can anyone plz suggest another privacy software or how I can secure my online activities?

laptop dvd player not connected error

went to this auto shop in ipoh to service my kancil 660(M)..they charge me 15 for oil filter..45 for engine oil change and 45 to service my break..is this a bit excessive or this the normal price?? this is my first time in this shop...
