So, even though this wasn't targetted as gaming phone,, u can game or do high performance task without hiccup, no temperature throttle.
Most plastic phones nowdays feels cool cause u don't feel it through plastic but maxed out performance will suffer after a while, or if not, reliability in long term is not the best.
This,,, i just tried gaming for long hours,, pubg or watever games,, it just keep flying. Even the 80watt charging doesn't feel scary.

how to block website adds url

Hi, i don't know how to explain properly but i will try.

I'm am a google chrome user. I need software advice.

When i open Chrome's task manager, it shows some info, it shows all the tabs, the websites and process(Urls) that is running.
To my hatred, i be only using 1 or 2 tabs(and hnce just that much of webpage). But beneath those webpages, i can see A LOT of subframes url running beneath it. It's just annoying.

FOr example, i opened a website Gsmarena. Then, i check on chromes task manager, it shows that website but under it, "Subframe", there are so many(20-30) other Urls(process running on the webpages i believe).
SO, can i ask how do i block those urls?? Is that using ad blockers? It just too many processes.

Can add those urls to block list on my CHrome? Are there steps for it?

Any clothe or fabric to protect from intense heat?

Hi everyone. I apologize if i'm in wrong section but do redirect me if possible.

I really need this help.

My problem:
I'm working in,, refinery,, but offsite(meaning its not inside of plant but outside). The problem is(don't ask me why i'm sticking to this job still or for now, why i'm didn't leave yet).
The place is basically open and exposed to Sun, and its near beach, Port Dickson.
My work is not labor intensive,, but it still requires me to be there,, walking around miles up and down,, being in fully harsh condition, noise pollution, foul engine smokes, etc.

BUt the biggest killer is the extremely hot sun. Yes, it might not feel a lot,, but,, those who works here,, the buruh paksa,, the labors, form Bangla,,
they are working here as their life depends on this. None of them have healthy skin. bla bla abou them.
The temperature is really high,, like,, we be sweating crazy, not few mins,, but hours and EVERYDAY. Basically, the recovery is very hard.
And talking about occupational health n hazrd shit,, well,, its in theory,, but if they were to follow that,, no job will get done, thats the nature of work here.

So, being exposed to scorching sun, while wearing safety helmet, ppe(thats basically useless against heat as the fabric itself decolourised in 3 weeks!!!!!),
so imagine the effect it have on skin. All this is fine if it's only occasionally, but, its not,, its long, prolonged,, and EVERYDAY.
Its always sweaty, oil, and yeah,, even after i got back home,, my body is tired everyday,, cause its too hot everyday and its harsh environment.

ofc there are workers here doing that, they do complain, many of them,,, but some of them,, their pay is on different level. they work inside tents. + they are 20s young, they think, they can push their body all they want. they dont know the effect it have in their future.
The olds??? they consistently complain they wnna leave but they don't have choice to leave,,cause,, they are old and this is the only job they know.

IS THE any cloth that is heat resistant??
I can do research about this,, but, i couldn't find anything , and not gonna lie,, i dont even have time for THAT.
I only get one day free and and that too only twice per month. So, for now,

Installing nvme ssd

Hi, i recently bought m.2 2280 nvme and tried install.
Bioard is Asus Prime B460m r2.0
Ssd Xpg 8200 pro.

I'm able to insert the nvme into slot just fine but, when i have push it down to screw it, the ssd is not parallel to motherboard plane/ the end to be screwed is lower than the end at slot.
The ssd looks slanted. Surely will damage the ssd board if screw it.
To explain better, the ssd end on slot side is taller then the end on screw side.
Otherwise, other dimensions, its straight.

saga cvt vs 4 speed auto

Hi, i'm looking to buy used Saga 1.6.
So, need advise that suits for used/around 10years car.
SO, anyone with knwledge about saga auto or where to find the informations.
Share advise and experience.

Most of the models sold are Cvt models,, only a few are 4 speed auto.

1. WHich is more durable?? are they around the same??
*usually 100k miles,, let's say been driven equally average abuse,

The Cvt,, usually scary. Some tahan,, but if dah nak rosak,, mmg payah to recover,,, is this true??
Cause,, i saw in shopee,, there is a shop that provide overhaul package,,RM3k.
BUT, not for the 4-speed auto ?
SO,
The 4-speed auto,, usually not scary like Cvt,, but the one in SAge,, is it reliable?
(i heard Saga uses few 4-speed models, Mitsu, Hyundai,, confusing),,

I DON'T WORRY ABOUT FUEL ECONOMY OR "shiftless" experience,,Jnji boleh jalan everyday.
i don't abuse also but not uncle driver la, brisk type a bit.

If i buy, ofc i will do some major preventive maintenance.
2. But, which will be easier to restore?? parts?
WHICH ONE CAN RESTORE TO CONSIDERABLY HEALTHY LEVEL?
- all being equal,, which one is doable/ease of repair?
Avoid the one that is hard to repair. Nnti foremen *can used this reason to chrge extra extra.

2. Let say once i restore,,, for example, the CVT Auto Clutch Damper,,Clutch Set Friction KIT VT2.
But, for the 4-speed auto,,anything??
Which can be done durably? Is there computer diagnostic??

Some times,, the cost is low,, but,, need frequent chnge.
sometimes the cost is high,, but,, lasts long,, or v long if jaga elok.
but somtimes,, costs too high,,last pun not long. Hmmm.

3. I'm well aware,, cvt with clutch,, if sit in jam,, holding brake while in D,, in overheat.

My father Babied that thing, early oil chnge, managed to last 10years though,, but,, mileage just 80k,, n, kaput jugak.

Hi everyone, really on tight budget, like really mmg no enough money level.

I own Perodua Kembara and the engine is 1.6(long story short, when my brother owned it, he swapped engine, JPJ endorsed all).
So, instead of usual 1.3 or 1.5 , it is 1.6.

It's radiator water decreased over time. Thought it was head gasket, radiator, bla bla.
Only at last moment to realize the block had cracked and had to be replaced.
Basically, the engine is,,, Done sebab block dah crack.
BUT everything else seems perfectly good. cheaper than dvvt versions i assume.
Head is good. valves and other components all good.

I been searching for the BLOCK but prices are still steep for me.
Can u people give any suggestion on;
1. Where can i buy the Block for decent price.

2. Or if there are any other reasonably price alternative.

My father said someone offered 1.6 whole engine(not sure health, other sub componenets condition but i think can swap with mine).
Price was 2800. So far,, that's ouchhh. I know that's the normal price but i'm pressed hard.

Hi, i bought an original ANdroid Tv box.
Watching YOutube. I know there are ads nowdays n hv to pay to avoid, but on ANDroid TV, it's tooo much.
Not bearable and i don't understand why it is much much worse than watching YOUtube on Phone or Pc.
Ads be like 90seconds non skippable and interferes for every 1-2mins.

SO, nahh, ytiup premium bullshit ka apa,, this feels more like forced and greed(Since the Box is original, why much Wrse than PC and PHone??).

Advice before using pcie riser cable

Hye i'm planing to use pcie riser cable, i got 2 questions.

1 - What brand should i use? Anything wrong with cheaper ones(Still yg ade brand la, like Tecware). The Cooler master, same spec, same length,
but way more expensive, am i missing anything??

2 - Are things i should know before buying one? and to know while using it?? Safety precautions.
GPU is pcie device that is not hot swappable, hnce it must be secured tightly with screw,, if loose, any shock to pc can cause damage,
or pc to restart(i experienced this already, multiple times, haha).

ANyway, here is my spec,
i3 10105f - Pcie 3.0
Mobo - Asus Prime B460m R2.0 - 3.0
GPU - Rx 570 sapphire PUlse - also 3.0

EXtras - i think this falls under modding,, but do advise me.*

My setup is actually open setup. Yeap, gpu don't have much steady support other rubber i used to make it stand straight lol.
But i suspect, the weight of gpu is slightly bending my mobo. MOthboard also i placed on rubber cubes, place at bottom of every screw holes.
hehehe. v stupid. But it works for 3 years now. No issue. Though i have t be careful not to accidentally hit the table with my long legs when standing up,
else the shock causes pc to restart, sometimes.
ANyway,
I recently cleaned my open setup,,replaced new ruber(i think this one softer). And, it's not happy,, smtimes, tk nk start.
sO, OUT OF Fear, i dissambled it again.
Now, MY PLAN,,, Mobo, i got nothing to worry,, i can place on flat cotton padded surface - all very light,, cooler pun basic je,,,i got this.
BUt the heavy gpu,, i wnna isolate - Hnce using the riser cable.. and place it on different structure,, sitting flat - the gpu have MEtal Back plate.
ANY advise?? Can the riser work well???
IS it sensitive??? EVErything need to be held tightly and precisely gitu??

I don't have a casing currently and i hate to use one though, unless no choice.

Intel Cpu Bending

Hye everyone, purpose of this thread is, to know about an issue, but directly Malaysian pc user/builders.

It is all over the internet that Intel cpu on lga 1700 is facing lots issue, one famous is stability/degradation issue of 13th and 14th.
BUt another issue is the cpu itself bending. This is what i wnna talk about.

1. Can you people(builders, normal users, etc) share here if u experience this ? Does the cpu get bent, compared to older gens.
Can share pictures?? the bent seem to be very visible, a simple ruler can distinguish it.

2. Could this be the reason that cpu is actually degrading and unstable?
The cpu is so tiny, rigid(the die is like black glass cincau block), then tiny traces, solder on capacitors? All can withstand bending??
the electrical pathway will now have different length, resistance, etc. Mybe that's why it degrading?
- How about heat cycle,, heating bent metal will bend even more/concave. And then cooled and repeated,, any thermal crack, integrity ?

But, Intel is Billion dollar comp with geniuses that sells a legit product with RnD, TESTED before selling.
Surely, they would have tested many times and saw the bending.

I actually don't mind about temperatures, can manage unless i9/i7k.
Anyway, is the bending really fine? All over reddit, people just say, its fine one la, but now, mcm2 issue.
Even for upcoming socket, i read smwhere they will use same ILM,
but also provide option better ILM(like server) with added price(sounds like only premium board will use while the budget market will have a product that might not last long?).

3. Is contact frame a safe solution? This is another confusion i have.
They are selling a product but one with whole purpose that would deny warranty. Is this legal?

I start to feel that, cause dekstop custom builds are kind of niche segment,, they are treating us like experimental guinea pig,
releasing products without proper testing, features with unclear benefit and implementation and over pricing in the process.

EXTRA.
Internet is busy pointing to the same thing over and over again = Too much power/Heat spot/Voltages.
Ofc, i think i gonna be entirely wrong cause im just a no one and out there those peoples are more,,professional.
BUt question i do have. Teach.
See, if its extra power related issue, i don't think that alone will cause degradation cause cpus are made to basically operate at its rated clock and power continuously and very long.

a) Cpus are not like tires, the more u use, the more it degrade but very slowly,, nope. Contoh, ssd have TBW but not cpu.
In past, cpu either work(same performance) or just dead.
Lasting beyond 3 years warranty, personally never seen cpu kaput after warranty also. Mybe other reasons but not due to time. I think all here knows that.

b) If more power gives degradation, no logic yet. Intel can't decide length of warranty. Some people use for 1-2 hours/week,
some use it 24/7. Some only push a lil, while some games/maxed load for hours,(llike i3 whch many people buys in our country for gaming) clock, boost power; high temps(stck cooler; many non tech savy still).
In this instance, maybe after 1.5-2 years, cpu could be unstable or unable to hold the same clock? degradation?
All this will point wildly varying lifespan, and warranty claims?
Pls don't say planned obsolescence cause this sounds too aggresive and obvious.

So, like i said in Point 2, could it caused by the bending?

I guess i will skip this whole generation.
On amd side, 8 core 7000 is almost twice of 5700(but no igp and ddr4).
12700 is in mid though, bending.

Why can't get full 100mbps on 2.4ghz

Hi everyone, my issue is wifi speed not hitting the target. Let me explain.
My internet connection 100mbps - i test using wired connection, it's a solid 100mbps and the same even on 5Ghz wifi(same distance as well).

My problem is, when testing using 2.4ghz, i could only get 43mbps, regardless the distance(just next router, afterall, even the 5ghz can hit full speed till my far room).
Why is this?

The device:
Router : Tp link Archer 1200 - checked the spec, supports 2.4ghz, n/b/g
My pcie wifi adapter - TL-WN881ND : supports only 2.4ghz, and n/b/g as well.
Both promises 300mbps up to 2.4ghz, using 802.11n.

So, why can't i get full speed??

Advertisement misleading or deceiving ??

Hi i wish to be educated on 2 things here.

1. I don't know how to ask accurately since i don't knw anything about software and coding, but let me try.

For a safe and secure use of Android phone, it needs security patches right ?
Now, those security patches/updates/fixes for safety, is it produced differently based what brand/model(let say All running same OS) or just the version of OS and whether brand release the update or not?
For example, let say la, Samsung and Vivo, both on SAME OS and up-to-date patch things,
Will the update patch/level same? or is different by brand? Or Phone spec, like, Vivo motherboard, different security patch? OR is it all same security patch from Google release??
Sorry if sound noob, i ask cause i don't knw.

Lil own experience: I hv 1 Xiaomi Note 6 pro and Samsung J6. Xiaomi, mmg superior and fast spec wise.

Hye everyone, i'm really kind of struggling to start.

I need few advises or suggestion.
Any companies where i can join as apprentice/protege/intern?

I don't mind low pay as i really want to gain/build experience first.

My previous intern was next to nothing. I doesn't involve real engineering knowledge, insufficient depth.

First of all.
- My cgpa is low 2.8. I know this is very low for todays standard - I know how to set my expectation but, i still hope for my best chance.
I will be ok if couldn't perform higher due to my own effort. But again, i had external issues.
I still performed at times(subs), just inconsistent. So, just best try.

- And the duration i been no in field is 2 yrs now(had my personal and family reason but lets keep that aside(maybe advice how to navigate still)).
I been doing free lance jobs meanwhile. And, i know how to make sure my mind still active, all the knowledge gained.

An as for what field to venture, for my interest(NOT priority or picky) is towards research based actually, on energy industry, renewable industries perhaps, environmental solution or deals.

Well, this is not a question or rage topic, just talk about my thoughts and i couldn't find anyone talking about it.

Generally, GPU are for games, basically to play games, some sort of entertainment.

Many years ago, but still well within a decade.

We can buy a gt card in range of Rm200-450(considered expensive for gt cards already).
And with this gt card, yeah, everything have to be on minimum settings, though, they can be afforded by students or young teens like i was.
I was able to get a gt 630 ddr5 bck in my days, and that was one hell of a card. Sure i couldn't max out most of current gamers, let alone at 900p lol.
But the thing was, i was able to play almost any game. In short, i was actually able to have fun, with lots compromises, but hey, RM250, no need high end PSU.
While my rich friends were rolling on Ps/Xbox.

Then, there was gtx cards, most value to price oriented card,, ranging from RM550 to all the the Rm1400.

Then, the high ends, likes of GTX 780, 980, 1080. Ranging from Rm1400 - 2000.

But fast foward today:
There are barely any cards(pls, lets not mix used cards here) below Rm1000. Yes there are some gt 1030(but seriously? terrible value, i don't think i hv to explain much).
I currently own Rx 570(bought for Rm550 4 years ago). Its good, performed great and still can play some recent games. And if not mistake, this was the upper mid range card back then.

But now, a Rx 6700 card costs no less then RM1700.
Yeah, there are some Rtx 3050 or Gtx 1660 below around Rm1000(still, twice...). but, this is 2023 already, performance difference is barely more than 40%(ini pun theory ja, real life lesser).
The power consumption? All requires a very decent PSU still, especially Rx 6700.

The rx 6600 or rtx 3060, seems the most value oriented(while at same time capable of playing any games at decent settings). But, still a whooping Rm 1500ish??

Why is windows actively using hdd while on ssd?

I installed windows fresh from Microsoft on SSD, and i don't have any bloatware on my pc. Not even windows built-in stuff like OneDrive and such.
I have an internal 5400rpm HDD as, used for storage only, not programmes or anything.

Even though my pc is running on SSD, i hear sound from HDD while using my pc. When i'm opening a programme(even folder from ssd), there is delay in launching and i can hear the sound of hdd spinning/clicking.
The worst offender is Edge, while using certain websites, like twitter or such. I can hear activities on it, followed by micro delay. Other activities include, right clicking on My computer icon, using Control panel, i can hear click noises.

Nope the noise is not RANDOM, only when initiating or doing something. Otherwise fully quiet.

SO, Why TF is windows still disturbing the HDD?

- I can confirm this for 2 reasons:

a) the HDD never went to sleep even after hours of not accessing any files from it - in power management, its set to sleep after 20mins but this bitch always awake.

b) that delay won't be there once i disconnect the HDD. I have tried another 7200rpm hdd as well, same issue.

The noise includes hdd spinning and lil clicks, but what really annoys me is the slight delay/slow down.

Yes, i have checked all the settings such as Virtual memory. Its fully on default. No hdd used for caching.

I don't have any special hard ware, just i3 10105f, Rx 570, Asus B460m r2.0, 2 x 4gb 2400mhz ram in dual chnnel, all the drivers needed.
