Securom stopping me playing my original games

Hi guys,

i've done a search on this forum prior to posting but i can't seem to find any related threads. I apologize in advance if there is another one.

I've recently bought a PC game, "Medieval II" gold edition Original from Megamall. Cost me about RM180.

I also purchased a brand new computer at the same day. When i reached home, the first thing i installed was the game but when i insert the DVD,

i got a message from Securom stating that i have an emulator running! CLicking on "More information" link, it brought me to their website which stated:

----

SecuROM™ has determined that emulation tools like 'Alcohol l20%' or 'Daemon Tools' are running. Please be informed that SecuROM™ protected applications will not work with such tools.

Please unmount your image, close these emulators, and insert the original disc in order to start the application.

----

I'm not very good at all this computer stuff, and i asked the shop to install all my drivers for me, i dont know what to do. I've googled disabling emulators and stuff and all the solutions seems to be geared towards me knowing what my emulator is! i've tried looking through my windows folder and program files folder but i can't find any software at all... i tried going uninstall programs and i can't find any suspicious software, they're all microsoft related software.

the only one that looks suspicious is i got a program called "Raidtool" i don't know what that is. The shop has also partitioned my harddrive into two... is this causing Securom to think i'm emulating something?

I guess i'm asking if you guys can help me out on this as it really sucks to be puting out the money to buy original games just to be rejected like this. If not could you guys tell me how i can find emulator software on my PCs? it would really help. I am running on Vista.

Thanks very much in advance guys. This is rather embaressing as i was just scolding my brother for buying pirated games, and hes in the next room happily playing his game while i'm in mine writing this... sigh...
