Brother DCP-T300 Installation Error

I bought a new laptop for my mom and tried to install our printer drivers for her daily work. Every time I tried to install it, I always encountered the error "Difxdriverpackageinstall Error = 1006" just before it finished and it reverts all the installation progress. I tried searching for helps and troubleshooting on the net and tried *ALMOST* everything but still to no avail. I tried installing the drivers using CD installation included at first. Then, thinking it might be outdated, I downloaded from the official site and still that error came out.

Anyway, I installed the same drivers to other computer and laptops in our home and no problem encountered.

At the end, I just plug in the USB cable and somehow it installed automatically. But while the drivers are installed, the utilities kit was not, as I usually needed it for my mom's ease every time she needed printer maintenance. Any idea what causes this?

LAPTOP SPECS
HP Laptop 14-bw0xx
Windows 10 Home (v 1703)
x64-bit

PRINTER
DCP-T300

Advice on Routes

Hey, guys! Spend a few times pondering with myself so I decided to ask for advice/opinion/insight, anything really. This probably would seem to be a rant topic, but I promise it isn't.

Short story, after SPM long ago, I went to matriculation program because I didn't get anything out of my UPU application. Then I left matriculation because I don't really get into the conditions of study and mostly my fault for not being able to get use to it, as I thought I would and should. So, my friend suggested me on a second channel and I enrolled in a diploma course in UiTM taking engineering.

I had a good progress until it was in my fourth semester where I flunked badly on almost all my subjects including two of which I had repeated since I failed them in my third semester, in which the subjects were all related of the mechanics of my course. I ended up quitting what I thought was my pursued course halfway in my fifth semester, after numerous visits with my lecturers and faculty's dean, which by far had helped me a lot.

Now, I'm currently reaccessing the possible paths I could take to go back into education. My family had ushered me to take culinary - especially in pastries - since I have the knacks with it. I personally agree with them, but I found myself more leaning towards English literature and writing recently and had excelled in it during my past school years I've been.

In that, comes the financial issues. My parents basically had wasted lots of money financing my previous endeavours and I feel I've failed them a lot. Both of my parents are well-paid goverment servants, but they have lots of things to take care that involves money. With my sister boarding the university scene soon after this SPM result, I wish I'm not restraining her chance to pursue her chosen course.

TL;DR - I fudged up my education and need help on how to enroll into possible course in IPTA - preferably in English, Computer Science or Culinary - via second outlet since I can't fill up the UPU form.

I am also a former SPM candidate of 2012, with a slightly over average result of 4As where all of Science subjects only managed credits.

Anyway, sorry for such a long post. But I just felt that this would give a bit insight of my current situation. Thanks for reading it though.

Graphic Card Problem

Hello.

I have a Dell Inspiron 14R (3421) and recently I have claimed a warranty for overheated motherboard. I had just picked up yesterday and today I just found out that my Nvidia Control Panel cannot open as it displays "An NVIDIA graphics card was not detected in your system." The graphic card is Nvidia GeForce GT625M.

What could have caused this and what can I do to fix it? Currently I am doing my finals and couldn't got to the repair center yet this week because the place is too far from my university.

Besides that I also wanted to know if I could upgrade my graphic card. I am not sure if my Dell's graphic card is built in or replaceable, though. If I could upgrade it, what would be the good one to upgrade to?

Thanks a bunch!
