Laptop recommendations

Hi all

would really like to get some recommendations on what laptop to buy
my last machine was the DELL Studio 15
which served me very well from college years until my initial working years

so basically right now it has come of age (RIP)
and I am currently shopping for a new laptop

I've been out of the current tech and gizmos realm and right now am not sure what laptop to get

I'm looking for a strong machine that can handle loads of downloading, gaming (i.e. The Sims, Starcraft, Red Alert) and the normal work setup.
Basically I'm looking for a portable desktop.

My budget is around RM 3500 and below

any recommendations?
