http://forum.lowyat.net/ Tue, 28 Jul 2026 20:21:13 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1212979 Hi guys, been scratching my head on this little problem with my parent&#39;s desktop. on startup the motherboard would show that there is an error and the keyboard is lockedout. <br /><br />to continue i have to press f1 or DEL to setup. with the keyboard lockedout, no input can be registered to the MB. the jumpers for the keyboard lockout feature is not connected to anything so i may need any sifus help here to diagnose and assist me with this<br /><br />The solutions tried:<br /><br />1) plugging out all jumpers connecting to the casing out and taking out the CMOS battery. connecting them back after half a day. Still same error<br /><br />2) plugging in some wire to the connecting keyboard lockout feature jumper.
