Robotinfra is looking for a full time Devops Engineer in Kuala Lumpur.

You’ll be working on various web and not-web related projects, in various industries. Most of them are actually quite fun as it involves a lot of bleeding edge tech, exotic use cases, blockchain and cryptos. No boring stuff.

Technologies: Golang, Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, gRPC, crypto currencies, a bit of encryption, databases, continuous integration, and a lot more.

Requirements :

Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Experience with automation/configuration management
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
Understanding of code and script (Python, Golang)
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

If you don't know the real definition of a hacker and just see the blackhat hacker, skip this post. it's not an Angelina Jolie movie from 1995.

Looking for a KL based Golang junior developer (or refugee from an other ecosystem with not yet corrupted mindset) who want to learn Go and other cool techs (devops to crypto currencies).
With a hacker mindset.
I will personally train you on code, best practices, tools, the ecosystem, packaging, architecture, testing, security, etc.

This opportunity is you're paid to learn the following technologies: Golang, docker, linux, kubernetes, gRPC, crypto currencies, basic networking, a bit of encryption, databases, probably UI development too (in Go), API, continuous integration, and a lot more.
This is a full time job, here in KL.

It's like apprenticeship, but long term with someone with 23 years of experiences of all these technologies.

It's different various projects, in various industries. Most of them are actually quite fun as it involves a lot of bleeding edge tech and exotic use cases. No boring stuff like Java stuff for an insurance firm. And I'm not an agency. It's all internal projects

I don't care about your age or which school you went to. I think, in IT, school is a problem and not a solution and remove opportunities to learns real life experience a few years. I personally just have a high school degree, because of compulsory school... not my choice.

I only care about motivation, passion and experience (personal or professional).

As a mentor, I know everything from writing kernel driver to crypto currencies, and everything in between. I'm not good at electronics, electricity, and that kind of physical stuff.
Started Linux in 1994, worked on +14 programming languages.
I was a networking guys for a few years (routing, switch, firewall, etc).
And then a devops before the word "devops" even existed.
Started to works with Bitcoin in 2010.

To starts with, I expect 5 days a week presence in my """office""" (not really an office, just a big laboratory with servers and cabling around).
Heavy training, and you spend a lot of time experiment with technologies I already master.
Works on simple projects and then go next level and do the experiment of your own: learn things I don't know yet.

The various projects are owned by different entities that aren't necessarily related. Some of them aren't even incorporated entities, but just crypto projects with and without a DAO. To simplify all this, you will be directly under me.
