Currently my tenancy agreement contract is to end of August.

However, the tenant wish to move out till end of July. How do you all manage the deposits?

Dear sifus, I want to seek clarification on after buying a new house.

When I bought the house, the stamping duty was offered is 50% of the house price. After done all the payment eg. deposit, loan fee, lawyer fee and stamp duty, I was eagerly waiting for the get a new completed house. However, my lawyer firm called me that i need to pay extra for the stamping fee. I was like

Then the lawyer mention detail why need to pay extra for it.

Purchase price : RM 100000
Renovation Price : RM 200000
Total house price : RM 300000
Stamping Fee : RM 5000
Minus 50, Total Stamping Fee : RM2500 (which I paid)

Now,
The calculation on the 50% off entitlement based on the Purchase price only and not Total price.
Purchase price-RM100,000.00
RM100,000.00 @ 1%-RM1,000.00
50% OFF - RM500.00
The total stamping fee approved by the stamping office is as follows:-
Total stamping fee - RM5000
Minus 50% OFF - RM500.00
RM4500
Minus your payment to us - RM2500
Outstanding amount = RM2000 (top-up on stamping fee)

The lawyer told me that a lot house buyer complaint to the government but everyone need to paid the extra in the end. But this one should be house developer / lawyer to paid since the information given to us is wrong? Or else 50% off stamping fee is just a bait by government? Need clarification as now I'm in dilemma of getting a new house for own stay..
