Hello,

Is there availability of 8800GT in KL at the moment? Gonna buy one soon (before now and next week). Any brand is fine but I have preference for any that has either:
- cheapest price
- good pre-overclocked settings (like Zotac AMP! etc.)
- improved cooler (like Zalman on Gigabyte or Palit/ Xpertvision)

Please state price / model.

Also looking for Viewsonic 22" LCD VX2255wmb, any stock in Lowyat? Need to bring it back to Sabah, so would anyone ship it with courier?

About warranty, I would like to be able to ship the unit if any problem, and not having to fly to KL to drop the parts for both LCD and GPU...

Hi all,

I was thinking to get the VX2255wmb, as it is in my opinion (and read tests) the best overall performer. I should be able to get it locally (in Sabah), but it apparently is difficult to get from my supplier... So I might need to get it in KL... Anyone has any idea if it is possible :

- to carry a 22" in the AirAsia plane? It is over the normal limit of the maximum hand luggage, but I have seen some people having really big stuff... Is it possible to make sure it gets in, even paying a tax? The package should be 80 x 80 cm (don't know depth though)...
- how much would it cost to ship it with a transporter like DHL? Cannot get a price on their website....
- where is a good place to buy it, with stock, good price and after sales service?
- does the Viewsonic service center accept to ship it to them if any problems? Don't have in Sabah...
- does it do 1:1 pixel mapping? So that I can later play Crysis in lower resolution than 1680x1050... and also to plug my laptop on it with a max resolution of 1440x900 but without interpolation and loss of picture quality...
- finally can anyone confirm whether you can plug a next gen console on it like PS3 and how is the image quality? As it's not full HD... Interpolation occurs?
