Samsung S8 - screen turn yellow with lines

My samsung s8 when just unlocked from idle, it behave normally with normal screen tone. However after a while, sometime it will turn yellowish with dark horizontal lines. When this happen, the screen is barely readable.

But if I lower down the brightness say 20%, or brighten all the way to 70 to 100%, its then normal again.

Is this something to do with LCD or the voltage issue?

Appreciate advise from sifu

Unifi - High Latency / Ping

Current Setup:
Unifi - 5Mbps'
Condo (low rise) - VDSL, connecting point / comms room is just 3 story below my unit (thru a riser)
Condo age: 8 yrs
Location - Puchong

Basically based on the Speedtest.net result, I'm getting the best ping even to the nearest server at 35-40ms
While my parent staying at landed property only few minute across, they're getting 7ms ping

Upon reporting this to Unifi and the very next day, they've sent the technical guys to check from their end and later to my house and they claim that it's my internal wiring issue and the maximum speed that the line can go is up to 8Mbps, due to bad SNR. I was advised to change the wall plug to see if it's due to connector issue, or otherwise if it doesn't help then change the entire wall concealed line if I'd want to improve the latency. Since my house do have 2 telephone wall point, I've tried with the other port and the result generate the same

The only doubt that I have now is that the technical guy claims the maximum is at 8Mbps, but when i try to run Unifi's HD content + 5Mbps download - i'm still getting good speed without any lags. I wonder if what the technical guy has advise is appropriate?

I'm actually quite concern in hacking the concealed wall and redo the wiring for this
Otherwise my next alternative thought would be pulling a new cable from my roof, and channel the unifi ethernet line via power plug..

Any suggestion guys?

Surface Pro 4 or Asus Transformer 3 Pro?

I've plans to purchase a new laptop for software development purposes (visual studio / android), which my current Atom processor's based laptop hardly cope with any Android emulator. Occasionally I'd also want to have some fun / game on it

Should I continue to wait for Asus Transformer 3 Pro or should I purchase Surface Pro 4 off the shelf?

Current consideration, Surface Pro 4 i5 / i7 8gb ram

Good to know:
Surface Pro 4 software / firmware is mature in a way after various updates since it's initial launch, with great pen functionality (i kind of liking the eraser). Not sure if Asus ones come with the eraser option tho

Asus Transformer 3 Pro: Not sure how well their software are, not a single usage review is revealed yet
But good thing is that this comes with thunderbolt / usb type c, and could hook up to ROG 2 if needed sounds interesting

What's your opinion guys?
Appreciate any feedback + Poll vote too

Is now a good time to buy a sedan?

While I'm searching for a car to replace my existing Proton Satria dated 1995, which is still in good condition with one objective in mind - for better safety feature and readiness for bigger family while not breaking my piggy bank.

Putting in all factors and pre-planning of the ownership towards the new car, there's couple of external uncertainty ongoing such as market uncertainty, political uncertainty, economic uncertainty and etc which I've take into consideration. Although this is not something which is in our control nor foreseeable, but with planning on when to purchase a new car - I believe things can be slightly better managed.

Given the budget of approximate ~80k car over 5 years installment, there isn't much choices in Malaysia over sedan if we factor in the total ownership (incl. maintenance, parts and etc.) / RV cost for practical sedan.
Most popular and majority of them comes from Honda / Toyota / Nissan, which translates to City / Vios / Almera given the said budget.

Looking into the newly introduced entry level Nissan Almera with newer technology at adequate malaysian market price, this will somehow impacted the market and forces the rest of the manufacturer to better equip their car with greater feature to be in the league & to revise their respective strategy.

Although I've pre-booked the Almera for practical use, I might want to consider calling it off and observe slightly further few months down the road.

In view of the above context, do you still think that now is still the best time to purchase a car now or should we wait until next year after the GE / when the other manufacturer counter with a more competitive pricing strategy to benefit the potential buyer?

What says you? Would like to hear from the floor

Hey guys, I've gotten myself a L42D25K Panasonic LED tv, along with DMP45 Blu ray player bundle.
Was thinking to get a home theater system to compliment the above.
Budget is about 1.5k, has anyone heard of SC-PT980 before?
If you do see/view/heard of it, possible that I could get some review from you guys?
I've tried to search online, hardly see any review from any expert...

Reason for looking @ Panny is due to Viera Link? Seems that everything is well linked together
