Network Problem

I hope this is the right place to submit this.

I have a problem. I think it came from either XP or my hardware. Router no problem. Using other computer still can connect and surf. Just this one particular computer.

I've setup everything perfectly.. until one day lightning strike both my router and network card (onboard). So I bought another router and PCI NC and install as usual. Onboard LAN disable of course. I've experience this burned hardware problem before with my another PC and further action was smooth and running perfectly.

But this one particular computer, I can't get it to connect to internet. I mean, there is connection but it's kinda 'stuttering'. IE, FF and Chrome all fail to establish connection to internet. One second in, then out forever.

I tried to ping google and the results are not quite like my expectation. 1 reply for every 30 pings.

Firewall disable and enable back still don't give me result.

I suspect there is no connection with my port 80. Because all my other programs using UTP and UDP (torrent and others) running smoothly.

So guys, any idea what the problem is? Reply back if you need more information. Currently using XP SP3 with latest hotfixes.

Hi fellow. As title says, I need a job and I need it badly. Desperate maybe.. By the way, I'm taking engineering in my studies.

Or could someone point me where to look for training scheme said by the government lately? I searched on many government portals but no success.
