Hi there

I am currently renting out my apartment on short-term leases. As part of this agreement, I am required to provide internet to potential tenants

I do not want to commit myself to a fixed-line fibre contract with modem + router etc which is expensive and I am locked in.

My plan is to get the mobile broadband package from ppl like Yes and Umobile:

https://www.yes.my/4g-broadband#homebroadband

https://www.u.com.my/plans/broadband/postpaid-broadband

Any bro used before? Can recommend any solution? Thanks!

macbook pro machines repair

hi

my macbook pro (late 2011, no apple warranty) started to have its display distorted with grey lines, and after a few days i was unable to run it in safe mode/disk recovery/reinstall the OS. took it to machines at MV northpoint for it to be evaluated and was advised to change the logic board (part no 661-6161), which is consistent with the apple forums.

the price quoted was RM3k to change the entire component

understandably it is an expensive price to pay and some would even use that money to buy an entirely new laptop

has anyone experienced a similar problem? and whether the problem recurred even after replacing the logic board?

also, is there anywhere else where i can get it done for a cheaper price using parts from china maybe?

thanks
