Hi Lyn forumer!

Im an English degree holder. I'm looking for any available vacancy either in Perlis or Kedah. I'll be moving up north by this coming new year. I'll be available for the job by march or April. I prefer to work either in Kangar, Perlis or Alor Star or Jitra, Kedah.

Im not being selective on the job selection. However I don't favour the idea of joining the sales field. Due to the hectic working hours. I don't mind working on a minimum wage temporarily.

howdy again, LYNians!!!

i'd guess that you must have had a slight idea on me moving to rawang / serendah from my other postings somewhere on this forum.

i'm really dying in need to know what are your experiences and reviews on living in these two neighbouring areas. please, i really do need to know MORE on the environment, the basic and available amenities there, the job enlistment (i'm looking forward to moving to any of these two areas and get a job there too), the public transportations and etc..

especially about these areas :

1)taman tasik puteri
2)rawang emerald (the cost of living, rental etc)

and some basic info about me:

1)a young and broke single mom
2)never been on job before (only some part timings during college)
3)have driving license but do not drive that much, have no car and depend fully on public amenities.
4)just starting out a life on this cruel and fierce world
5)how long it takes moving from there to kl (eg: kl sentral) by KTM

i really need hard-core reviews, pros and cons, dos and don'ts from those who have been staying there and live experiences from the experienceds.

my budget is below 300k (for a house on sale).

i dont mind to rent or buy the house as long as i get one.

really and seriously in need for it.

thank you for your time and adherence to read and please do reply to this.

i have a friend who is a young and single mom. she just had a rough divorce nearly a month ago. as a friend, i really would love to help my dear friend. i just want to know if there any active single parenting group around kl? she is still confused with her 'new' life and is struggling with it. maybe other fellow single parents here can post any opinions, guides and a helping hand here.

do reply to this as i want to help her as much as i could.

maybe other fellow single parents can post here roughly the life of a single parent, the monthly budgeting, activities with kids, handling the issues of emotions and feelings of the kids and etc..

young, jobless and confused

hi and hello fellow forumers.

it'd been awhile since i found this forum and became an active silent reader of it. I'm glad of it as a lot of opinions, either constructive or non, ideas, valuable experiences and many more have been shared here.
thus, i've decided to participate in the forum actively now.

i'm in a situation now and need help, opinions and guides from all sifus here.

i'd graduated a year ago and am still unemployed due to a personal problem. after a long (and tiring) wait, i've decided to start job-hunting. FYI, i'm in the middle of a divorce and the process is still a long way to walk.

the dillema that i'm bearing now is:

1) during an interview should i or not inform the recruiting HR about my current situation if they ask about my unemployment since my graduation?

2) my sooner-ex-hubby is an agressive person and i'm afraid if he might, out of sudden, turn up at my office and create a 'scene' there, once he knows my employment (if i get to be hired!! ) what should i do with this?

3) what are the chances of me getting hired if my cgpa/grades are not a stellar one?
