Out of prison beggar?

These days seems like a lot of beggars claim they just got out of prison, need money to balik kampung, but they are NOT at puduraya and nearby bus station, they beg until quite far.
I met one at Titiwangsa bus station. I ask him, where you want to go? Here got no bus woh, then he say oh he will go to puduraya. LOL.
Today the one i meet in front of Lot 10, same case, say want money to go back kampung. He show me IC and say he is a muslim somemore.

Both cases I say sorry me no cash, and say bye bye to them.
And IIRC this is not new, but i got a question:

Q: Do prisoner have different IC? like different color IC or something like that?
Dont our prison system help prisoner that got out get back to their location or something like that?

Too bad in this world I cant be too sympathetic to these beggar, or scammer.

snatching in front of my house

Around 8.10pm, in front of my house at Desa Setapak (the one right beside the Wangsa Maju LRT station), a guy got snatched by a motor, detailed dont know much, just know the victim is probably chinese guy, thin. Dont know what got snatched, bag or phone.

How do you prevent yourself to become a target of snatch thief while walking.
Sometimes its impossible to not bring a bag.

Personally I try not to put anything valuable inside my bag to prevent any excessive loss.
I bring a messenger bag, something like this. I wear it this way too.

My mum is telling me that it is not safe bring this bag as it is not easy to get snatched, when snatch thief targetted me, its likely i will get dragged and will got hurt physically.
My thought is this will likely make the snatch thief not target me. What do you think?

I'm don't usually watch tv, especially astro. But recently I'm thinking about what's the string of numbers and character usually appear at the right side of the screen, I remember this has been happening since long time ago. When sd time, the thing keep flashing with different numbers and character at different time. But I think at hd astro it stay at one place d.

Anyone can enlighten me about this matter?
Today I went to a mamak, they cover that part of the screen usually showing the string. Make me think it might be related to drm stuff.

3K PC Rig Build Suggestion

Budget: 3K
Main usage: Heavy browsing, VM running most of the time, gaming sometime

CPU: i5 3570K
MOBO: Suggest. Suite to built requirement (READ note below)
GPU: Nvidia, need at least 2 DVI output as I would like to use dual monitor output at 1080p respectively.
RAM: 16GB
Casing: No need fancy fancy, simple and do the job its enough.
SSD: 60GB. Which brand is reliable? Intel? OCZ? Basically for OS install only.
HDD: 2TB (I can take 1.5tb - 3tb, whichever has optimum price/gb)
DVD Drive: None

PC Build Note:
1. Would prefer the PC to be silent, so is the OEM heatsink good enough? 2. Can the build include dust filter, as I would like to clean up the dust filter once in a while and not everything.
3. I plan to run this PC 24-7 until it spoil (which I hope will last me a good 3-5 years hopefully), how this will factor to your build? Good airflow?
4. Gigabit port, just in case there are still 10/100 out there.
5. I dont really need/like my pc to be shiny shiny and blinking blinking (full of unnecessary LED) all the time. Just those normal HDD indicator, etc is enough.
6. Good PSU lah, i dont want to have any problem cos it will be very ma fan as I would need to ship to you to RMA, bla bla bla...
7. OK hope you read all of this and factor them into your decision.

Need advice on gigabit home network setup

First occurence of problem: want gigabit connection

hi, I'm currently using the modem router streamyx provide, it's nothing wrong with it but I don't think it is gigabit compatible.

Would like to use gigabit connection for my nas and ps3.

1. How should my setup be? I hope can get a gigabit and wireless modem router, wonder if there is a one box solution? Oh, need to work with streamyx of course.
Budget range within rm250, possible? Suggest me models that I can buy either on lyn forum or lowyat shop.

2. What is the cheapest ddwrt compatible gigabit + wireless router available in malaysia?

3. I heard i dont necessary need cat 6 for gigabit is that true? How do I test if my cable are gigabit compatible? Willing to buy tools.

Help! PC Automatically "died" every nownthen

Hey, I have a computer (hardware problem i assume) that really trouble me a lot lately.
My PC (which i build myself not long ago) starting to have this problem around 2 weeks ago, which is:
(From observation)

From cold startup (the PC left shutdown & powered off for more than 1~2 hours), when i start up my computer, then boot into windows, the computer will "die" after about 10 minutes of normal usage. Die in the sense of the whole computer's power supply had been cut off.
The OS didnt shutdown properly
When the computer died, it didnt respond to anything including i try to hit the power button (although the power is still on)

The way to make it "alive" again is to turn off the power (from the power plug), leave it around 20~30 seconds, (if you turn it off and on immediately, it wont work) and then turn on.

From now on, the computer will work properly as long as its still running. Even restarting wont have any problem.

I Tried:
Changing power plug (from one wall plug to another)
Changing the Pc Voltage Stablilizer from one to another (I dont have UPS to try it out)

I think its the PSU problem, what do you think?
And what else should i check before i buy something and replace it?
I dont think its an OS issue, i will double confirm this later.

Please help...

Haha, recently i decided to give my mum a surprise by giving her my nds, but the problem is i dont know what game to recommend to her.
Basically, my mum is not a gamer, so i figure out maybe puzzle games are her favourite.
i need some recommendation of titles of good addictive puzzle games, best if those games are not time critical, cos you know, sometimes my mum do need to think abit while figuring out which button or part of the screen to touch... so, those games that have time limit might not be fun for her
