I&#39;m trying to compare this to TM&#39;s claims for the 1.0Mbps line, which, if I&#39;m not mistaken has an effective rate of 1Mbps for down and up is 384kbps, correct?<br /><br />I&#39;m asking this as I&#39;m using a Riger modem and I noticed that in the Home screen, it says that my down speed is 512kbps and upload is 256kbps. This is odd, considering that the HD could be mounted and read when I used Ubuntu in LiveCD mode. <br /><br />What the error is saying is that I can&#39;t mount the drive because I have to mount it using root.
