How To Get Right Resolution

Halo guys,got a problem here.Why when I connect my pc to lcd tv I can only get a blank screen?I can see the loading screen but when it finish the screen will flick and goes blank.I try each of the resolution available it still not working.
I try the create custom resolution in the nvidia panel but it says 1366x768 is not supported.
Previously it was very easy to setup and working good with windows xp.
My PC:
OS : windows 7 ultimate
Monitor : Acer 1717
Graphic Card : Nvidia 7100GS
LCD TV : Panasonic 32"
Connected with VGA cable

I bought Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 today.Get it installed but cannot boot.Now i using back my old Pentium E2140.
Is that the Asus P5NM-MX mobo cannot support the E5300 or can i upgrade the bios to make it work?

Will switch increase data transfer speed

Right now using Aztech 600EU Modem with built in router.1 pc connected to the modem using ethernet and other pc connected using USB.Manage to connect to 2 pc for file sharing.The problem is data transfer speed between 2 pc only can reach 400kpbs like that.Very slow for transfer movie.So will switch improve the data transfer speed or the modem is the problem?How fast can I get with switch?

It always On from the start up of the pc.What is the problem here?I'm sure that my cable connection is correct.Already change to new harddisk but still the same.Motherboard problem?

Got a blank line on my Sony Ericsson K750i LCD after an accident.I guess it a dead pixel and about almost 1.3cm long.Will it getting longer or bigger?How much is the repair cost or should I just change the phone immediately?Having no problem with other function though.

Smoke Came Out From Harddisk

Reconnect my HDD after not use for sometimes after getting SATA HDD.Switch on my PC then I saw a smoke is came out from power cable. .Immediately I press the power supply switch.Tried for second time.The same things happen.Afraid to try again I plan to claim the warranty.
Is it possible for me to claim the warranty?I got the resit and the HDD only 4 months old.What the possible reason?
Should I say it was burned?

My harddisk temperature is up to 40 degrees and could be higher.Is that ideal temp?I'm using SFF so can't add a cooling fan into it.
