Pet Boarding

Hello all. Could someone recommend a reliable pet boarding place in either PJ or KL (including contact details / price)? My cat, Nermal is about 5 months old. I would prefer that the boarding home don't mix the pets i.e. dogs with cats. I'm afraid that Nermal would get shaken up since this would be his first time. Thanks in advance.

Wireless router + modem

Hey all,

I'm on the 4 mb Streamyx package and I'm looking to replace the router from TM.

I've been searching a bit and found KL Seet. It has quite a comprehensive list but none were routers with modem (or so I have checked).

Any recommendation for wireless router + modem that has solid performance with a reasonable price?

I plan to buy the sim card only and put it in my old Digi usb modem (Huawei). Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

Hi all, when you have a new car people say that you shouldn't start driving at high speeds / high revs as the engine is still new - need to give it some time to "cook" or something like that.

I was wondering at what mileage should the new car be when you can start doing so?

Places to hang out

Hey everyone. It's Friday date night and it's my turn to choose where to hang out. The thing is my girl wants to bring her pet cat too - a 3 month old kitten. Yes, 3's a company (a weird one too) but she insists on it. Besides, might be fun to have a pet on our date.

Given this scenario, I'm kind of lost on where to bring us. I'm thinking of something like we could eat take away in the car parked somewhere over looking a nice view or something like that.

I live in Subang. The furthest places I would go is Putrajaya, KL or Damansara.

Any suggestions?

TMnet BT throttling

Hello all. I was thinking the other day about TMnet's latest feature on throttling. Does anyone here have a clue on how it works? Perhaps if we did, we could find an exploit and take advantage of it. Yes, I am aware there are solutions to avoid throttling, proxies etc. but how long will it last? To know the enemy is half the battle won or so they say .

My theory is that the device or system in use sends out a pulse every now and then checking the network for downloads over a certain bandwidth. If there is, it checks what kind of download it is. If it is a BT transfer, the system would probably "strangle" the line in use otherwise leave it alone.

I could be wrong here. There could be more in a much deeper detail. Suggestions?
