Been having internet lags via phone when using unifi home wifi. Tried to use the Unifi app, easyfix site and Maya. All led to a dead end with no where to gget immediate help.

Really frustrating, with even their 100 number no being able to get any assistance. They use to reset port remotely, to solve this issue, but now it looks like have to wait as I can only submit a complaint general form.

This effects work from home and any gaming. What should i do mext time this happens?

Front Load washer and dryer below RM3000

There are many combinations available for a front load washing machine and dryer. I am referring to 2 separate machines here.

Thus I seek for your suggestions and experiences on getting these.

This came about when I first saw Toshiba promoting such a set that comes with some sort of stacking device. My first thought was, wouldn't the vibration from the dryer topple the dryer at the top of the washing machine. From online search so far it's the only combo for that RM3000 price range not including delivery.

7.5Kg inverter washing machine TWBH85S2M
7Kg dryer TDH80SEM
RM2198

Or is it even possible to combine different brands for the stacking?

How to disable webcam mirror?

Been doing some amount of online meets with webex, Zoom and google meet. The problem is, when someone shows their doodle on a paper it appears as a mirror image. Words just cant be read. Pictures are not what they are suppose to look like.

On Zoom and Webex, there are options to remove the mirror, but how do you do it on google meet? I havent found any method to do so.

On Windows 10, the camera app doesn't have options for mirror. Its an Asus X441U. I looked at Windows settings, but havent found any option for mirror. Asus website didnt provide any webcam specific app or driver. Currently I have added an external logitech webcam, and this is displaying without mirror.

Anyone can share a solution, to get the laptop webcam not to mirror display?

My laptop is Asus X441U

Google meet Help page website doesn't address this issue

Butterfly or Russell Stand Mixer review anyone?

Hi all,

Was looking for a dough mixer and now comparing between Butterfly model bsm-4366 RM425 and Russell Taylor sm-1300 RM400 both 6.5Ltr. Appreciate if anyone can share their experience or point to review pages.

Plan to mix dough for bread and cake. So far only found comments they both are noisy, but this to me is relative. Bread makers can be noisy but only a short period.

Asus x441u laptop replace hdd with ssd

Greetings!

In order to improve the performance on my laptop, I did some reading and concluded that the first thing is, to replace the existing 1Tb Hdd, 5400RPM with a SSD (size about 480-500Gb). The laptop is a Asus X441U with the above 1Tb Hdd.

The plan,
1. Purchase a reliable SSD that is compatible with the laptop.
2. Replace the HDD with new SSD.
3. Clone the HDD to SSD and make the SSD as the OS.
4. Use HDD as an external disk. Purchase a HDD enclosure and insert the 2.5 inch HDD (I guess plug via USB to the laptop).
5. Use the external 1Tb HDD to store files, video and image.

Problem is, I have not done any of this before and not familiar with the process or what specs to get that's compatible for this laptop. The laptop currently dual boot to Windows 10 and Linux Mint.

From online, I have found SSD models;
ADATA SU630 480Gb - RM255
Crucial MX500 500Gb - RM343
WD Blue 500Gb - RM328

Appreciate any guidance how to go about this and what are things to look out for. Hopefully I dont waste money and time.

=== UPDATE ===

Successfully replaced HDD with Samsung 860 EVO 500Gb SSD. Used the easeus cloning software to move data from existing HDD. This one had to register, free 1 month access. Purchased an Orico 2799U3 enclosure where I initially connected the SSD to the laptop for cloning.

The boot screen didn't display linux partition, but its ok as I can still reinstall after fixing the SSD partition another day.

The enclosure is now used to connect the HDD to laptop.

Thank you for the helpful comments!

Today 19.3.20 found that on unifi broadband network I can't access roblox.com and its related program can't run.
Sifu2,

Please help clarify following:
When 3000 units of stock is bought on 15th Oct and the dividend is declared on 15th Dec of same year at 12 cents per share. That's 2 months later.

Is there a general guide on dividend entitlement date/duration before it's given out? I can find the dividend dates in the papers, but not any entitlement dates.

Is it correct that I am expected to receive RM360? Irregardless of how long I have bought the shares?
Locally available Budget Food Dehydrator Review

I am searching for a decent food dehydrator and found that the price range can go up till 4 figures.

Not that I am looking for something commercial use and probably will not use it that often. I came down to a budget of below RM300 and found many available from online stores. The few local electrical shops, didn't have much choice with such budget price.

Was wondering, maybe its because there are not many people who prepare food with food dehydrators for own use?

These are the models found in alphabetical order. Appreciate if anyone can comment, for a first time user of food dehydrator.

AutumnZ (only 1 model - no name)
Morgan MFD-A8
Morgan MFD-A9

Feel free to mention other models if any. Criteria;

1. Below RM300
2. Have LOCAL support

Hi all,

Can someone help explain how to get gallery to show photos Download folder?

1. Just noticed that the Gallery app doesn't show photos when I download images via chrome. The images are saved at Internal storage/Download and I can view from Files manager. In Gallery, chose the others in More Albums, still can't locate Downloads.

2. From Files app, select the photo and use Gallery to open the file. It doesn't allow the Edit and Delete option. There are over 60 images of png and jpg.

The phone
Huawei Nova 4
Emui 9.1.0
Android 9
Free space in 70Gb

I have checked that Gallery and Chrome permission include Storage. I suspect Chrome downloads but Gallery don't have permission to access those files. Others loke camera, screen shots have no problem.

Hope this the right place to ask, if not, please guide me.

Best Parks in Housing Project

Is it possible for housing projects to have a well maintained park accessible by the public?

Since it is trendy for housing projects to develop parks within their project, it wouldn't be surprising that they use it in their promotions. But whats the fate of the park if its public and expected to be handed over to the local council or Majlis Bandaraya?

Appreciate if you can share name of projects that fit such a description. Better still, how they achieved it. Can residences and local council do anything to make the park well maintained with minimal cost? Are there by laws to help out?

At end of discussion, we could put a poll if forumers are interested.

Is there a way to fix the ceiling mounted Panasonic Bayu Fan? Its only at speed no.1 and none of the remotes can change the speed. Remotes are working for other fans.

I suspect one of the electronic component should be replaced on the motherboard. Like a capasistor or sorts. Hope there is someone who have done this before. Opening the cover reveals a simple board that probably some soldering can replace the part.

If this should be directed at another sub forum, please let me know.

panasonic bayu 5 does not respond to remote

One of the Panasonic Bayu 5 fan has stop responding to the remote. This means I cant change the speed.

I have taken the remote and tested at the other fans and they work. Tried the remote from other working fans and it still does not work.

Any suggestion on how to get it fixed?

In the traditional fans its just the capasitor problem but here, I cant even open it up as there are no instructions.
