Receiving money from Australia

Hi all. I recently started doing some freelancing for some side income. I am looking for the cheapest way to receive money from Australia (few hundred AUD per transaction). I tried using international bank transfer using SWIFT, however, I can't stomach the exorbitant rates that the banks imposes. I then signed up for Wise (formerly Transferwise), and Instarem, though I can't seem to receive money as I can only see an option to send money. Does anyone have any recommendations for which service I can use? The time taken for remittance doesn't matter, the main concern is maximising the amount I receive after taking away the costs incurred. A few names that came up were Square, Stripe, Bigpay, Remitly. When I did my research, most of the results seem to be focused on sending money, instead of receiving money. Thanks for your replies and apologies if this has been discussed before.

TLDR: What is the cheapest way to receive money from Australia ?

Installing new Deco M4 mesh wifi

The official youtube channel for tp-link Malaysia explicitly states that the first Deco M4 unit must be connected to the router, not the modem ( unifi router connect to unifi modem, then only Deco connect to unifi router). However, someone told me that he has connected the Deco directly to the unifi modem and has no issues with using it. What's the difference between both methods and which one should I do? Does this apply to all other models of Deco as well?

Any replies are very much appreciated.

Buying Steam wallet gift cards from 3rd party

Has anyone bought Steam wallet gift cards from 3rd party resellers such as Shopee or Lazada before? Found some sellers selling for quite good price, can save quite a bit of money when compared to buying on Steam directly. They have nearly perfect 5 star reviews from their buyers. However, my concern is not from being scammed in not receiving the gift card code once I have paid. I am concerned that much later on once I have received the code and credited the money into my Steam account and purchased games on Steam, Steam might retract back any credit and games that I have bought with the gift cards. I have read some cases online regarding this, something to do with the Steam gift card being purchased by stolen credit cards, or the Steam gift cards themselves being stolen. Of course, by now, it will be too late for the buyer to leave a negative review as quite some time has passed.

TL;DR : Has anyone bought Steam wallet gift cards from 3rd party resellers and encountered problems with it later on, such as Steam retracting back the money?

Yoodo in Kuching

Just wondering if anyone has used/is currently using Yoodo in Kuching. I know that they are running on Celcom's network but I still have a few questions. Hows their service and coverage? Is it totally the same as Celcom, i.e. is the coverage and reception totally 100% like celcom ( if I get good reception using Celcom line, do I get the same level of reception as Celcom or is it diminished in any way?) Thank you.

Unifi installation costs for apartment

So I will finally be getting Unifi in my apartment after waiting for years and after making numerous inquiries and complaints. My housing estate has had Unifi for a long time , however, they delayed pulling the cable from the main road into the apartment, and up to each individual floor. Anyway , how much should the installation cost be for the TM contractors to pull the cable from the main riser on each floor to the individual apartment? I was told by numerous sources that it should be free for up to a certain length , and they will only charge for any excess length or special requests. However, I was told by the building manager that each apartment will be charged a flat rate of RM 80. Also, if there are costs, do we pay upfront or do they charge to the our account? Please advise.

TLDR : how much is the Unifi installation cost for pulling cable to apartment unit ?

Hotlink share a top up

I have been using hotlink for around a month now. I am trying to send some credit to my friend using the share a top up feature. On the website, it says "Minimum Balance :You must ensure the talktime in your prepaid account has a balance of RM5 or above after successful transfer if you have a tenure less than 3 months with Hotlink ." http://new.hotlink.com.my/en/my-hotlink/do...e-a-top-up.html So, if i have a current balance of RM25, and I want to send RM10 to my friend, there shouldn't be any problem right? However, after attempting multiple times and amounts ranging from Rm1-RM15, Maxis still does not allow me to send any credit at all! It just keeps replying with the message "sorry , you are unable to use this service as you need to have at least 3 months tenure with Hotlink. Sorry for the inconvenience caused." So, does that mean that i can't send credit AT ALL if i haven't been using my hotlink service for 3 months or more? If so, the notice on the website is blatantly misleading us.
