Unifi BIZ10 fixed IP guide

Dear Members,

My company recently subscribed to Unifi BIZ10 to get 1 fixed IP. We planned to host our on dns/web/email server using ISPConfig on that IP, I talked to TM unifi call center regarding network setup for fixed IP.

According to TM Unifi they actually assign you 2 fixed IP (/30 subnet) which was;
175.xxx.xxx.213 - at unifi router a.k.a Dlink DIR-615
175.xxx.xxx.214 - for our own use (in my case the ISPConfig server)

The thing I'm not clear is, they ask me to assign fixed IP (175.xxx.xxx.214) to my ISPConfig server and connect to same router (192.168.1.x network)?

CODE

WAN
|
|
----------
HUAWEI BTU
----------
|
|
------------------------------------------------------
     DLINK DIR-615 (175.xxx.xxx.213)
------------------------------------------------------
| | | |
PC1 PC2 PC3 ISPConfig server
192.168.1.100 192.168.1.101 192.168.1.n 175.xxx.xxx.214

or

CODE

WAN
|
|
----------
HUAWEI BTU
----------
| |
| ISPConfig Server
| 175.xxx.xxx.214
|
------------------------------------------------------
     DLINK DIR-615 (175.xxx.xxx.213)
------------------------------------------------------
| | |
PC1 PC2 PC3
192.168.1.100 192.168.1.101 192.168.1.n

hope somebody can guide me on how to properly do this

tq

Broadband provider
ISP/package: BIZ10
Location: Bangi
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: yes

Personal equipment
Modem:
Router: DIR-615 (flashed with dd-wrt)
Firewall used: No

relocate unifi fiber cable

I want to relocate my Unifi equipment (BTU, RG) from my living room to my mini-office at home.

The problem is the fiber cable runs through a drilled hole on the wall to the equipment at the living room. In order to move all unifi equipment to my mini-office I need to pull back the fiber from that hole which I can't because the the fiber connector is too big to fit the drilled hole.

Disconnecting and reconnecting the equipment should be no problem for me.

Basically, I need to cut the connector from the fiber, pull the cable from the hole and re-terminate the fiber connector to complete the relocation. I wish I have the fiber termination kit so that I can do it myself rather than calling TM and they will charge me RM300 for a fiber connector.

So I'm asking if any Lowyat members here willing to do it for me at minimal charge (or even better free ;p)

or any other alternative that cost reasonable.

I'm living in Setia Alam.

thanks & regards!
