DSL 600ER - Couple of questions

I'm using Aztech 600 ER router and I've got a couple of questions...

1. What should my modulation setup be?
MMMode/ GDMT/ GLITE etc?

2. Should my MTU be set to 1492mb or 1500mb?

I'm having trouble connecting to MSN network

I can't seem to record anything over the microphone. I've triple checked if it's connected to the right port. I've tried both the front panel and the back. The microphone bar is set to full in volume control and the default recording device is 'SoundMAX HD Audio I". I've done some googling and couldn't find any so thought I'd post here.

The weird thing is that I tried to do a voice conversation on GTalk with my friend and I had music playing in the background and he can hear the music but not my voice? How would that be possible...?

Aztech DSL600ER Problem

I wasn't sure if it was a problem with steamyx or my router so I tried using another router of my friends and WLM seemed to work just fine. (so i won't blame streamyx on this one ) Whenever I try to sign in, it gives the error on key ports from the WLM troubleshooter... So anyone know any router configuration/anything else I need to do to fix this matter? Any help is appreciated... Thanks
