Can I buy used car w/ non-Msia driver license?

Hi guys,

I'm going to move to Selangor in June and looking to buy a car as soon as possible to make it easy to inspect potential permanent accommodations. Can I use my license (Indonesian) to buy a used car, or do I have to get an Msia license first?

My budget is around the lower 20k, I don't have 3months payslip yet but have 2year contract, also I can pay cash. Looking to get a 7seater or at least a 5+2. So far looking at an Avanza or a Kangoo unless there's better alternatives?

Advice about Brainy Bunch islamic montessori?

Hey folks, I'm moving to the Sunway area in a few months and looking for schools for my 3yo. I was looking at montessori schools, it seems like the best one is either Eaton or Child's house in Damansara, but so expensive! So, I was looking for alternatives and saw this islamic montessori school. Their website and corporate video are very impressive, but I am concerned since they have like 38 branches, are all of those good quality or not. Anyone got any experience with them? The ones close to Bandar Sunway I think are the ones in USJ or SS19, but any input about this school is welcome.

Need Advice: Moving to Sunway area, where 2 stay?

Hi all,

I'm a foreigner, 30+, going to be working at one of the universities in the Sunway area this June. I'm not sure what my options are regarding accommodation.

Basically, I want to have the least stress possible about accommodation from the time I land at KLCC to when I start working. Ideally, I want to rent a furnished studio apartment with all facilities included including internet, for the first 6 months (so until Dec'14 or Jan'15). So far, I think Monash Residence offers something like this, with a single bedroom w/ ensuite bathroom (http://sunway.edu.my/university/admissions/accommodations/monash) , but it's kind of expensive (around 1800 p/m) and it's still semi-shared. Is it possible for me to get a fully furnished, all bills/facilities included, private studio apartment (or something similar) for under $1300 nearby? or is it only sharing that's feasible to target? I had a look at ibilik and found something like this (http://www.ibilik.my/rooms/685917/sunway-university-monash-toa-room-for-rent-grab-fast-include-everything). The RM900 seems like a nice option, but I don't know enough about how things are in Malaysia to make a good judgment.

Any advice appreciated. Cheers.
