a monk that is really popular over here has forecasted that my dad will be involved in a car accident this year, and i'm afraid that something might actually happen to

him, it got me really worried. I always told him to not believe in things like this because it's superstitious, now that I've heard of this and it's got me even worried like

what if something might actually happen to him.

He just went out to see him, and the monk said he could help him avoid the accident, he only needs a few things from my dad, it's free of charge.

Desktop program won't start

After running Malwarebytes and did a clean scan yesterday, my laptop detected some PUP, that infected some registry keys. So I quarantined them, and after I restart

my laptop, my skype and my malwarebytes won't load, but they appears on windows task manager. What seems to be the problem here?

I found out that this generation have a greater thirst for fame than money. If ask people what they want to do these days, most of them will say becoming a youtuber.

I think being famous has more cons than pros. What do you think?

I have a question about whether I should use vpn, I download music and movies sometimes using MEGA, zippyshare or other download sites like that. I never used any torrent.

So let's say right, one day I get famous, would I be exposed for something I have downloaded 3 or 4 years ago?

I am 23 this year, I just graduated few months ago. Been working part time for the past few months, now finally decided to think what I really want in future.

On one hand, my friend suggest me a position from his previous company, a telemarketing position, he said it could be good for a person like me who's introverted, coz its not like direct sales that requires you to meet other person to sell something in real life.

on the other hand, my mom actually offered me a loan to go to aussie, maybe work for a year or two, since one of my friend is working part time there too, he told me if i come he could find me a place to live.

right now im in a dilemma, because im not really excited about both things, im only doing it for the money.

it'd be nice if you guys could give me some perspective.

having kids necessary?

being the eldest son in the family, and the only son in the family. i feel like i have a need to have kids even if i dont want to, i never liked kids, but my parents have been telling me i need to have one for their sake.

but seriously, what are the downsides of not having kids. all i see is upsides, like having a lot of free time that i enjoy myself and more money.

guys im asking for you guys opinion on this one. im graduating soon from my university, and I was thinking to apply to become a flight attendant, not sure if I would make the cut, but to be honest im only in it for the money, basic pay is around 3000-4000 which is pretty good for a basic FA.

but the problem is being a FA has nothing to do with the course that I've partake in my university, and the employment contract to be a FA is for 5 years. Before I apply, I wanna ask if I made the right choice?

Person B : save up money by working + climb up higher position in company that he work + dont want open business = to survive

Person A gets rich.

Person B gets happier.

In this context , you can't be both . You can only choose to be rich or to be happy . Which one would you choose ?

I heard so many chinese folks that are in their 20s or late 20s rushing trying to "figure out" what they want or who they are in life themselves because they said that life is practically over after you're 30, and you have to make smart decisions before that?

When I had a reflection of what I did in 2017. I felt scared because im in my 20s now, but things didnt changed. Compared with some of my friends though, some got employed, some got into a relationship, and I'm still here.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that my life is still the same 3 years ago. I'm lost and I had no purpose, I don't know what I should do, I've been retracing my footsteps back and forth, and I'm still wandering. 2 semesters left to go and I will be a graduate. Everyone is telling me to be more positive and look forward to life, and good things will happen, but reality keeps telling me otherwise.

power indicator turns pink

the power indicator is usually blue or orange, i couldnt remember. but today it turned pink, i usually use my laptop without putting in the battery, should i be concerned with this problem, since my laptop hasnt had any problems yet, I've already been using it for 3 years.

How do you approach someone who's has a fierce looking face? Example : You saw someone who has potential, but you are afraid to approach him because he's scary. When you actually sit down and talk with him, he keep rejecting you.

fix car air con need a week?!

few days ago my car service center refer me to this panel to fix my air con. I went there, and let them check, they say air cond has no gas anymore, but I need to put my car there for a week? I was like wtf...refill gas only take a while only why need one week, then I ask him back, he said he need to check thoroughly whole car, scare got leakage somewhere, then have to report back to service center.

then i ask my father about this matter, he told me take back my car, coz he scare fraud or something, coz my hometown car panel can use one day settle this matter already.

Beer before night of an exam

i remember the last time i drank 15% beer on an empty stomach the night before an exam, it helps me sleep, but i woke up vomited and i remember the next day i have a bad hangover.

I would like to try this method again cuz it helps me sleep and I usually can't sleep before the night of exam due to stress, I want to ask is there any way i can drink without feeling crap the other day?

Mediocre life vs Gatsby life
