[WTA] Gmail related queries

Hi guys,

I've a customer who's account has been hacked by someone and was used to try to con the friend's into transferring cash to an offshore account in UK. Email account is registered with Gmail, inside info totally changed including the recovery email add. My customer had made many attempts thru the recovery system on gmail but couldn't retrieve any help and gets only the replied email saying the info entered doesn't matchup to the server's info. Anyone had such experience, mind to share on what can be done ? Customer had contacted Google SG and US, can't seem to reach anyone to discuss about the matter in an attempt to recover the email account. Gets only automated replies.

Offtopic:

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Bonus available for anyone who can hack into the account and retrieve it back for my customer.
Chipset Cooler Shoot out

Hi guys and gals,

Here's a little test i did over the weekend. A small contribution from me to the LYN community.

Its a shootout to determine the most suitable cooler for my NF680i northbridge. As most of us knows, this chip is crazy hot. So, lets see which one of the following choices will be suitable for the chip.

The contenders are:

DFI's very own Heat-Minator

ThermalRight HR05 SLI-IFX

Noctua U6

Initial Comments:
These are the 3 choices that i know could offer possible solution. The heatpipe design on these suits the application and purpose of the test, which is to tame the 680i chip. This test involves testing it on its own and with a 80mm fan blowing about 40-50cfm onto the heatsink directly. Using Everest Ultimate 4.00 to capture the temp reading.
There are also choices from CoolerMaster and Evercool, will consider them later on.

This is the setup:

Intel C2D E6300 -- Stock settings
DFI LP UT NF680i LT SLI
Crucial 512MB DDR2 667 x 4
Galaxy 7300GT 128MB DDR3 Low Profile
Western Digital IDE 80GB HDD
SilverStone ST75F
NMB 80mm Fan at 7V
3M ThermalPad with thermal conductivity similar to Arctic Silver 5

Brief product descriptions:

DFI Heat-Minator

- Bundled with the LP UT NF680i LT SLI mobo, also sold seperately for nearly RM 200 pricetag
- Full Alu with copper base

Thermalright HR05 SLI IFX

- Available locally, reasonably priced.
- Full Alu with copper base anodized with nickel

Noctua U6

- Available thru bulk section in LYN, ask irangan
- Aluminium fin with copper heatpipe and base

Group photo:

***Please pardon me for the poor picture quality.
Blinking words

Hi guys,

Here's my comp specs:

1. Abit NF-M2 nView
2. AMD X2 3600+ AM2
3. Crucial 512MB DDR2 667MHz x 2
4. Samsung 80GB Sata
5. Samsung DVD Combo
6. CoolerMaster iGreen Power 500W
7. Win XP Pro

Alrite. Here's the problem. Initially, there was non, very smooth usage with no OC, coz its sufficient fast for daily works. Then 1 day, when i came back from work, i power it up, i find the monitor after the POST section, its the screen that shows those IRQ stuffs, its blinking and then went into windows logo, then to windows environment. So, i thot, just ignore it for awhile, but, suddenly the PC restart by itself, giving the same problem and then instead of going into the windows logo, it just show blank screen for a long time. I had to press reset and try to turn it off by pressing the 'On' button, but it doesn't turn off. Then worst thing happens, the blue screen came on, saying some kind of error and i don't know wat to do , just switch off the main power. When I turn it on back, all the same problem occurs, randomly, either suddenly it'll show the blue screen, or else, the IRQ screen keep flashing/ blinking to the comp restart itself. Very weird

I've try to change the rams, HDD and even try other mobo, gave the same problem. The only things i don't have to change was the processor, PSU and Optical drive.

So, if any of u guys got any idea what is happening, kindly offer some advices.

I change the HDD, PSU, RAMS to the DFI P965-S with C2D also experience the same situation. I also tested the Gigabyte DS3 also give the same problems with the same set of HDD, RAMs, PSU and optical drive.

All kind help are welcome. Thank you in advance.
