Role:
A Web Developer experienced in building multiple web sites - from concept to function, exposed to multiple technology platforms and tools, understands good database design and usage, and has working knowledge of website operations. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Managers and development team in all phases of development, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment.
- Analyse client requirements, recommend development technology and strategy, plan and manage the development stages from concept to function, including database design.
- Work with project managers to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Assist Project Managers in reporting development status to management and/or team
members.
- Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to job function.

Requirements:
- BS in computer science or a related field.
- Proven working experience (min 3 years) in web application development.
- Experience in eCommerce sites a plus.
- Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and
budgets with business acumen.
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management,
best development practices, backups and disaster recovery.
- A solid understanding of Website information organization and navigation design, how design
impacts the maintainability and long term sustainability.
- In-depth knowledge of modern HTML(HTML5), CSS (CSS3), PHP and at least one of the
following programming languages: ASP.NET, JSP, Javascript.
- Expert knowledge of AngularJS development tool a big plus.
- Problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.
- Familiar with cloud-computing environment.
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools - knowledge of structured and unstructured database systems.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process.
