This is a fairly good printer within good print out quality.
The only setback is there is no duplex printing and it's really bulky.
The toners are RM 250++ but can last quite a while.
There's a limited life time for the drum. Once the life is up, it will prompt you to replace the drum.
The cost of replacement is about the price of the a new printer.

My first C1190FS prompted to change drum.
I sold it to a second hand guy- some Genesis thingy.

Bought a new C1190 FS printer in 2013. So I have 2 drums (old drum - as stand by)
So now, it's probably about a year and few months later, I had problems with the printing quality dropping.

When print out, instead of pure black words, all words turn greyish.
I called the Service Centre and they deployed Mavis Co's technician to fix it. Of course, the transport change and labour came to RM 150 per trip.

The 2nd time I had this problem, I called another 3rd technician who charged me RM50 for his transport and taught me how to do the refresh by myself.
It looks complicated but when you desperately need the printer to work, the instructions seems to be handy.
I can't find this step by step instructions anywhere in the web so I'm posting it here in hope that those who need to DIY knows what to do.

How to Refresh Toner when the Printing Color is Dull.

When you have replaced the toner and still get dull colored printing, it probably means the powder inside the toner cartridge need to be re-pumped back into the drum or something.
According to my technician, this is to help refresh and pump back the toner's powder into the machine.
So here are the steps.

1. Turn Off the Machine
2. Press & Hold (up and down) button, turn on the machine again while holding both the buttons
3. CE Mode, Password - x 2 - OK- Printer- OK- Press Down- Lot Diag - Ok - Down _ Digital output
DO- 0 Ready - - 27 (Black) OK - Let it run for 30 min (There will be clicking sound and motor turning) - Stop
-25 (Cyan) OK - exec (execute)
- 23 (Magenta)
- 21 (Yellow)
After half an hour for each color, press STOP.
When complete, To exit - Press 'System" - Exit
- Exit Mode - Ok x 3
Machine will restart

If you are to pick any interior designing company for your property, don't take Inno Space Sdn Bhd's Andrew Chung. They don't follow through, don't pick up the phone after money is collected and don't deliver their promises on time.

We engage them 2 months ago and until today, there's no follow up so this is not exactly very professional company that you'd like to hire for your projects.

Very disappointing.
