Hospital close because patient not honest

Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok will be closing its hospital on 22nd and 23rd March 2020 for a full terminal disinfection and fumigation following its first confirmed Covid-19 case.

The case is of a 30-year-old Malaysian woman who did not provide full disclosure during the screening process at the hospital and was admitted for delivery following the usual process. However, she developed a fever after giving birth. Further questioning led to the finding that the woman had been living with a family member who had attended the tabligh gathering at the Sri Petaling mosque in Kuala Lumpur and had tested positive for Covid-19.

All areas visited by the patient were promptly disinfected in accordance to stringent infection control guidelines. Contact tracing was immediately initiated and all staff who had been in contact with the patient have been identified, placed under quarantine and tested negative for Covid-19.

Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok managed the case promptly and appropriately according to Ministry of Health, Malaysia (MoH) guidelines. The patient is now receiving treatment at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah.

As an added precaution, the hospital has decided to close its premises on 22nd and 23rd March 2020 after all its inpatients have been reviewed by their respective consultants and discharged.

Clinical services will resume on 24th March 2020 and patients can continue with their existing care plans at the hospital.

Since January 2020, Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok has put in place precautionary measures against Covid-19, including limiting entry points to the hospital and checking the temperature and symptoms of everyone who comes to the hospital. In addition, the hospital has taken initiatives to restrict visitors and implement social distancing.

The hospital urges all visitors to do their part to curb the spread of Covid-19 by being socially responsible. This includes practising good personal hygiene and providing full and accurate disclosure during the screening process.

South Korea was the first country to report significant coronavirus numbers outside China, where the pandemic first emerged, and remains one of the world’s worst-affected countries despite being overtaken by both Italy and Iran in declared cases.

Scores of events from K-pop concerts to sports matches have been cancelled or postponed over the contagion, with school and kindergarten breaks extended by three weeks nationwide.

But recent figures have shown a steep decline in new infections from the beginning of March, raising hopes the outbreak is being brought under control.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) announced 74 new cases on Monday, the second consecutive day the increase has been below 100.

The death toll remained unchanged at 75.

If PH did not announce it now, but choose to do so later, then it won’t show transparency.

This will also give BN leaders and supporters the bullet to say, see, PH is a bad government, all their policy make our debt so high!! Last time when BN its only 600billion!

Since they announce now, even uneducated person will also know, no government can eat so much money in 2 weeks, or spend so much in 2 weeks, before GST become 0%. So this won’t lead to 6 months down the road, debt incurr by BN become debt incurr by PH

Would like to ask, if scenario as below

19/12/2017 - Buyer buy at lazada late evening
20/12/2017 - Seller sent out the item
29/12/2017 - Buyer still not yet receive. Seller check with GDEX, and noticed GDEX still not yet sent to buyer.
2/1/2018 - Buyer still not yet receive

Is it seller responsible to check the item sent out already received the item?

GDEX is still fuark because both buyer seller call everyday also no ppl pickup call

what can seller do to help the buyer? sent out another unit? or just stupidly spam GDEX and hope they pick up and respond?

Guys, wanna ask, if i already check in for international flights, i can baggage drop how many hours before departure ya?

lets say i fly from penang to kl, arrive 11pm. then my next flight is 6am at KLIA2. can i straight baggage drop for my 6am flight after I arrive KLIA2 at 11pm? so that the next morning i can sleep longer and head straight to immigration ?

I find that other extra lights are very distracting when I watching movie or playing games

those RGB lights from motherboard, graphic card, case, keyboard, mouse etc

i usually turn it all off. but sometimes, certain lights on mobo cannot be turn off, or the 2 bright white led lights on my GPU

i even put a black sticker on my aircorn on/off wall plug (or whatever you call it)
