I see alot of threads bout MMU but they are all old ones.. So, I want to ask how is MMU Cyber now? It is still kampung like? Hows the life there, lecturers, lenglui, facilites n everything else. Im actualy in mmu melaka n might switch to cyber for my course.

Artificial Intelligence CS/IT job?

1.Anyone here graduated studying artificial intelligence and what is your job now? Is there any AI related job in Malaysia? If yes what do you guys normally do, n how's the salary now?

2.If my degree is AI, but I did major in a subject called Software Engineering Fundamentals, can I get a job in software engineering? If i go for specialization in SE, I will have some addition subject about SE like Software Requirements Engineering, Software Design, Software Reliability & Quality Assurance, Software Verification & Validation. Cause I think SE in Msia is currently better than AI.

3.I believe cert is only a piece of paper right? lets say my degree is AI, but AI should be under Computer Science but most school put them under IT including mine. So having Bach. of IT or Bach. of CS on the cert make not much difference right? At the end after few years working it depends on experience rather than cert rite?

additional question:
4.I read knowing Mandarin/English helps u in ur career alot, like can get higher pay compared to other? I'm good at both of them, at least in normal communication. How about result, cgpa?

Computer Science where to study?

I just finished graduated secondary school and plan to study computer science. Since it's already february, im going for march/april intake. But I can't decide where to study?

I know some programming language like C, C++, php, and sql, html, css. I got 5 A (A-, A, A+) for my spm trial result, and lowest grade is C, two C. So it's nothing to worry about.
**edit: i studied in science stream. maths A+, physics B+, addmaths B (suppose to be A+ )

I got a few choices like APU / INTI / MMU / UniMy / maybe others

Going to some educational fair, i heard of APU, they are popular with computer science, but recently, i think in this forum, many said APU sucks ? and heard they have new campus this year

Inti it seems is the cheapest prestigious uni. You can also get dual certificate ( Coventry University). INTI seems great, dual award and popular.
Taylor Uni website doesn't put any fees, so I assume their price is very expensive right?

MMU's Melaka branch has Information technology, they actually grouped ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE under IT. AI is actually under Computer Science! So how good is MMU certificate? Will that cert be useful if i study something that is supposely under CS, but as IT ? Their Cyberjaya 'branch' has Computer science though.

From newspaper i heard of UniMy, a new uni. Owned by pel......... Cant remember. So how good is that? anyone went there before?

so from the above uni or any other recommendation , which is the best for computer science? im going to take computer science with specialisitation in one area, haven't decide.
sadly, i got a 'useless' harvardX certificate that comes without 'transferable course credit'

Also i have PLKN, I will get either second or third batch, does anyone know when the second batch start? I'm afraid i will be too late to register at uni if second batch start early.
I decided to postpone PLKN and hope I won't get called back in the future Or anyone got a way to postpone and won't get called back?
