Pharmaceutical sales: prospect and benefits

Hi guys, I'm thinking of switching field. Pharmaceutical sales is one of the major recommendations offered by recruiting websites like Jobstreet as I have a degree in Biotech.

I hope LYNers at here could give some enlightening inputs as I having a hard time to find the job info at here. It seems there are not many of forumers at here are doing Pharma sales. So what I want to know is:

1. How difficult it is to sell the products i.e. drugs to hospital or doctors? I deduce that if you're a sales rep from big cheese like Pfizer, Roche, etc, you may have an easier time as the likeliness of customers come looking for you than you making cold call is higher. Even so, are the professionals like Doctors would give you a tough time to sell?

2. I heard that in this sales line, dirty tactics were being used and female reps have better advantage than male reps. What I heard from my friend was that female reps could employ "seduction" tactics in order to close the sale.

3. I find that drug companies regardless of small timers/big chese often posting job vacancy pertaining to sales & marketing. Is the turnover rate high or they're simply "expanding" their business?

4. How are the perks and working hours for pharma sales? do they need to work on weekends (I suspect this could happen for smaller company).

I searched around the forum and nobody talks about Borderlands yet? Well, it's a good thing not to hype a game though. I think this game can turn out to be the gem amongst October's releases. Anybody interested in 4-player co-op RPG-FPS experience?

Internet sharing between win98 n winXp

Need help here!

I have an old PC (win98 os) which needs to share internet connection with a new PC (winXP). I have a modem (1 port) and network hub (5 ports) also. I used the old PC to dial to broadband, however, the new PC didn't receive any connection at all. I'm sure all the cables are plugged correctly.

I tried to setup a workgroup with my new PC but how to link the win98 so that the internet sharing is feasible?

Hi there, need a big help here.

I have a very old PC which was using win98 until yesterday, my naive brother tinkered with that PC by installing winXP. The installation never got completed so it'll just hang at the installation page every time rebooting the PC. the PC never meant for installing winXp anyway!!!

I want to re-install win98 but here's the problem...that floppy drive is broken, so i can't use any win98 startup disc nor i have any copy of it. I still have a backup drive but it has no booting files in it...only containing FORMAT.com command file. I was hoping to enter DOS to initiate the command but to no avail.

So folks, is there another way round to solve this problem?

Direct Connection problem

I just got my xbox 360 today and tried to use direct modem connection for live service. however, this plan didn't work out as i hope. These are the steps i did:

1) Ethernet cable (from 360) connecting to my Aztech DSL 350E (4-year-old DSL modem)
2) Set an auto-connection....normal constant lights for PC. but the DSL starts blinking once plugged into my 360....

Tell me direct modem connection isn't the appropriate way to connect to live service or was i left out something?

If so, i think i should opt for router connection. Is it any wired routers will work for 360?

Divx with 2 AC3 tracks (how to get rid one of it?)
