Fender Tele

I just got a Fender Tele and realised it has very hot pickups..
I get a lot of white noise coming from it...
Not much of a bother but how can I reduce this?
I've tried lowering my pickups

Another thing is that my volume/tone knobs are scratchy when I turn them up.. What can I use to remove the scrathyness?

And Tele players, how do you normally equalise your tele?

Nokia 6300

I've had my 6300 since May '07
And a few weeks ago, the calculator disappeared..
I updated the firmware to the latest 5.50 but still there's no calculator

Another thing is that I cannot contact/SMS some people... But on other phones with my SIM card, it works..
So strange..

Any info about this? Are there any alternatives besides sending it to Nokia's service centre?

However, can I still use it to transfer stuffs?
It's not dedicated to Time Machine only right?

Windows - Delayed Write Failed

Hi dear Low Yat forumers..

I have been experiencing this problem for a few months now..
Did not really bother it as I would use my notebook..

My PC keeps on poping up "Windows - Delayed Write Failed"
When this happens, my secondary HDD fails. It is only when I reboot that I can access my secondary HDD again.
I thought it was a HDD problem but I sent back both my HDDs for a new copy (Was under warranty)
Still get the problem again

My com will start to lag, along with my mouse

I am running
Windows XP
Pentium 4
3.0 GHz
2GB RAM
2 160 GB HDDs

Can anyone help me solve this?

QuickLaunch & Notification Area disappears

Hi there fellow forumers,

Recently, I just got a Windows Vista Home Basic and I'm running on 1.5 GB RAM, 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo

Usually when I want to close all my programs, the Quick Launch will slowly remove an icon one by one and the Notification Area will disappear.

Don't think the computer is hanged because whenever I open up Task Manager, some things seem to pop back up..

But how do I resolve this problem? Is it because of my OS?

Help and feedback is greatly appreciated.
