[SOLVED] laptop died . need data from HDD

My laptop just died and i desperately need my work files. Bought a 2.5" to USB adapter and plug it to my pc. Detected just fine but i cant access the files. Tried using "EaseUs Recovery" but for some reason all recovered files are just empty files with no content.

Currently running OnTrack Easy Recovery

Anyone can recommend any good recovery software or worst case scenario a shop that can help retrieve my work files ? and how much will it cost ?

Asus Transformer Book or separate laptop & tablet

Hi all.

Im interested with the Asus Transformer Book TX201LA especially for it dual boot (both android and windows) and ability to running both at the same time. tablet running android on hand , the base running windows connected to a TV. this will be used for work purpose so i will need it to be able to run Photoshop/ illustrator and CorelDraw for some designing work.

But the thing is, for RM3'500 at Lelong , is it possible to get a separate laptop and tablet with the same specs at the same or lower price ? Or do you guys have any other recommendation ?
