I have a trip to Thailand on 13th September 2014 to 16th September 2014

Based on 6 months validity, I shouldn't have any problems flying to Thailand but will I have problems coming back to Malaysia?
Do I still need to renew my passport?

I need a recommendation on a device that allow devices and laptops to connect TV via wireless technology for projections

Done research on Belkin ScreenCast and found out only works with Intel WiDI

Preferred if there's something I can use for Android/Apple and any laptops

Is there one capable of more than one devices/laptops connected to the TV but controllable through the remote control and still able to surf the internet?

currently using CM690 (first generation) which is a dust magnet

Screen blank before WinXP loading bar [boot]

i have a pc which is having a problem.. well it's not mine or not with me at the moment

originally this pc brought back from an office and i tweaked a little by reducing start up and services for faster boot up

the pc is already several years old... pentium celeron i think..

the pc was originally using inbuild graphic, so i slotted in an old agp card

after i tweaked and restarted the pc several times to test.. everything works fine but after 2-3 days

the WinXP couldn't boot up as it says missing Hal.ddl in system32 folder

so i decided to reformat but not a clean format and everything is back to normal

the next 2 days, the pc couldn't start up again... this time the screen turns completely blank just before the WinXP loading bar is showed

the monitor LED is not blinking or turning to any other colour and there is no processing being done at the back end

i'm guessing it's the HDD which is causing the problems but i need to know what others think about this

today i've managed to set my E8400 @ 4Ghz

this is what i see at the bios

Clock Ratio at x9
Bus speed 445
Memory Multiplier at 2.0
Ram timings at 4-4-4-12
cpu frequency 4.00Ghz (445 x 9)
cpu voltage: 1.25v

but when i run cpu-z 1.52.1

i see...

core speed is 3Ghz
Multiplier x9
Bus Speed 333.4Mhz

am i missing out anything? or it is just displaying wrong numbers?

sorry, i'm pretty new with overclocking

Problem with MSN

hi, i seem to have problems with my msn messenger where it keeps saying that contact list is not available

when i try troubleshoot.. it says that i have hosts file conflict

so i search in system32/drivers/etc... and i found that i have two hosts files... one of it is hosts.msn and another is just hosts

is it normal to have that file?

i try deleting it but it comes back
