Hi All,

I'm intended to have an operation (not urgent and severe) in government hospital and I was advised to get a letter from the Klinik Kesihatan before I can seek a doctor there.

I'm a working adult and have limited annual leaves left ( 2 days only) for this year. I have to keep the leave in case of emergency. Thus, I'm looking for a government clinic that operate on weekend or till late evening on weekdays. Do you guys know any government clinic (klinik kesihatan) in PJ, KL or Kepong area that have this operation hours?

Thanks!

CKHT forms were submitted to wrong LHDN Branch

Hello guys,

I sold my property early this year and was seeking for RPGT waiver.

The lawyer is holding my RM23k as a payment for RPGT though I seeks for waiver. As the lawyer informed, I only can get back the money once the waiver is approved by LHDN.

Somehow, my lawyer submitted the CKHT forms to the LHDN Duta branch instead of LHDN Klang branch where my income tax is filed. The lawyer claimed that the Duta branch will transfer the forms to Klang branch then.

After calling for few times with no proper answer , I paid a visit there (after 3 months) and was informed that my forms was passed to another department for it to be transferred to Klang branch and it would take months to year

It have been 7 months since my lawyer submitted the forms.

Have any guys here faced this issue before? Please share with me

Alternatively, can I re-submit the forms to Klang branch instead of waiting the forms to be transferred?

Normally, how long it take to approve the waiver?

Thanks!!!

Retention of money by lawyer for RPGT

Hi,

I just sold my property last month and now in the progress of signing S&P.
In order to save cost, I'm sharing the lawyer with the purchaser.

Since I sold the property within 4 years, I have to pay 20% of RPGT and I'm looking for a waiver.

However, I have been told by the lawyer that part of the down payment will be held up, it is about 20k.
The lawyer also mentioned that in actual, the 20% of the RPGT should be held up just in case if I failed to get the waiver, the money can be used to pay it. Since the down payment is less than the 20% RPGT, then the lawyer only hold up 20%

I have checked with other lawyer and she advised that if looking for waiver, there should be no money retention or may be just 2% of selling price.

I'm confused and could you guys advise me on this issue????

By the way, the lawyer is from Penang but the property is in KL.

Thanks a lot in advance for your kind help!!!!!
