im posting this thread to keep a journal so google can keep an index.

thanks to [@tarvalslain87] to pinpoint the website to buy this adapter. ive search high and low at lowyat and cannot find the adapter.

order the item and after 7 days the item arrived. since the item ship from oversea its ok.

plug in the adapter and its works up to the highest display resolution.

sound work, usb port also work. only apple isight didnt work coz dont have the driver. since im not gonna used it let it be.

the conclusion is yes you can use an adapter to use the apple led cinema display 27" with mini display port on a pc. just make sure you got the gc to handle it because i plug in to other system it cannot get to the highest resolution.

the thunderbolt display cannot work with this adapter.

so the question why the heck i want to use an apple led cinema display on a pc?

because i want to do stuff.

Background story

Lets say i involved in an accident with another party and total lost my car and another party still can be repair.

After police report and investigation. Im on the wrong side and need to pay the summon.

Question

Do the other party can claim the insurance from me?

Assume i had finished pay the car and sum insured for the car around rm12000.

Do i get the balanced after the other party claimed and still got balanced?
