Problem with IPv6 vs cpu usage on Mikrotik hapAC2

I recently notice this problem after I have 500Mbps package speed

before never happen cos my internet was only 300Mbps+

Im using mikrotik hap ac2

I realized when I do p2p or Steam download with ipv6 enabled, mikrotik cpu usage only 1 core at 100%

then im getting unstable connection via Ethernet ports

and the worst case is my ethernet port on mikrotik will stop working during heavy download on torrent client for few minutes, then I have to "disable" "re-enable" manually to fix my ethernet port

if disabled ipv6, then all works totally fine

is there any solution ?

Watch this video to reproduce the problem

[YOUTUBE]ssgSbsB3REg[/YOUTUBE]

is it just my hap ac2 ?

or does ur mikrotik device also like this?

I'm currently running the latest stable version routeros 7.12.1

trying to look for facebook video ipv6 address

Hello mikrotik sifu, I'm still a newbie to routerOS, so.. pls dont mind if i did something stupid here

I'm just too bored at home, so playing with mikrotik traffic shaping

if that works, I can use it to balance the bandwidth for the users in house who are heavily using internet during MCO,

I have a queue tree that will look for packet and mark it by using domain, then use the marked addresses to shape the traffic

[attachmentid=10458177]

heres the IPv4 and IPv6 firewall mangle rule that marks every packet that reply from facebook.com, youtube.com and googlevideo.com and then add their addresses to the address list (which is useful if the source have multiple different addresses)

[attachmentid=10458178]

for IPv6, speed limit for youtube works 100% like IPv4, however, for facebook, it only marked the packets for the facebook web content, except its videos

if i set a speed limit for facebook, everything is limited but only video still going full speed, what I'm trying to do is to make it able to mark facebook video packets.

heres the address list the mikrotik got for marking packet

[attachmentid=10458179]

there's one address in grey color, it was manually added, I found that by looking at connection list tab, and it worked for a while, after sometime no longer works, seems like theres more other ip addresses for the videos

is there a better way to look for ip address especially for facebook videos?

hope sifus understand what Im trying to do

I like this config, because when a user access the target website such as youtube.com, every ip addresses it looked up will be recorded and added to the address list, marked it as the target packet to shape. automatically.
so you don't have to manually add bunch of addresses you found manually, it will just look up and update itself, including the possibly future new addresses the target website has

Regarding Router->Unmanaged Switch->DVRs

Hello, sifus, want to ask something about network

I'm a network noob so...

just want to confirm something, I personally very seldom touch things like unmanaged switch and router, wonder how that switch works and if that will bottleneck with 100mbit devices connected.

current setup:
HDCVR (estimate bandwidth use up to 4Mbps per channel, max 8 Channels per DVR, total 24channels)

Internet Modem 100mbit Router ->single cable-> [Gigabit Unmanaged switch]
--- (1Gbps) Computer
--- (100Mbps) 8CH HDCVR A
--- (100Mbps) 8CH HDCVR B
--- (100Mbps) 8CH HDCVR C

For internet live view, of coz it's limited by the available internet upload speed. So that's not a problem.

Now the question is... if the Client use Network to View all 3 DVR on his Computer at the same time, is there any network bottleneck?

by what I know, it should be fine if the computer runs gigabit network, and connected to the same Gigabit switch with the 3 100Mbit DVR right?

in this case, the important is just gigabit switch and the computer with gigabit connection right?

correct me if im wrong

Link to FB

Group name: "Sleeping Forest"

Server: Tim's Server[x100XP,x125Tame,MaxLv261,x10Farm,x5Spoil]

Versus our group: "Survivors"

Story:
1. The group Sleeping Forest in the server, went to attack our Gigano base (the place where we keep our Giganos), they destroyed it and kill our Giganos.

2. Server went down for a while, all players were disconnected from the server, but few of our members didn't close or restart their game client, most of us did,
server back online, but still older version, (not updated yet).
Most of us couldn't login to the server (still older version) because our game client is auto patched to newer version by Steam.
Few of our members was still able to login because they didnt restart their game client for update.

3. Sleeping Forest tribe couldn't login to the server, because of their game client is auto updated to newer version than the server,
that's why they couldn't login, including everyone else on the server,
and then they (sleeping forest)said they were banned by the admins.

4. Server seems slightly rolled back to the time just before they were going to start raiding our Gigano pen.

5. 3 of our tribe members who logged on, only 3 of them, raid their base.

6. they back online, saw their bases destroyed, rage, whining, say we are admins, roll back server cheating on player, being a loser LOL.

They didn't even touch our actual bases.

For more details, read their facebook comments.

Hi sifu,

I personally never seen how unifi works before, only know it needs somekind of deeper manually configuration to get iptv and internet work
Nowadays got routers came with unifi preset for user easy setup

Now i have a question

Currently I'm using streamyx with TPLink Archer D5

It is an adsl modem+router, it actually has wireless router mode

If i have unifi someday, can i use that wireless router mode to connect unifi fiber modem and configure it to connect unifi connection?

Possible?

Just noticed since yesterday, I get funny ip address like 1.32.x.x

first I thought TM changed Streamyx 4mbps or above user from public to private ip address because it starts with 1. or 10.

actually it still works like usual Public IP

does anyone get the similiar IP address?

WTA Hostname redirects back to the target

i dont know how to say that.. (i'm bad at explaining)

something like connect the target machine with the hostname when you are connecting in the same local area network

for example:

Im in the same local area network with the server, I want to connect it with myserver.no-ip.biz instead of its LAN ip address 192.168.1.x

problem:
use hostname will not work when u are in the same network with the server. hostname only works when im connecting from outside the network

I know some decent modem routers already can do that by default, but older modems or the ones TM provides still not able to do that. Any solution for this?

in short:

I have a server in my office, in my office,I can only connect to my server with 192.168.1.x:port

I can also connect to my office server when I'm at home or somewhere else via internet with myserverhostname.no-ip.biz:port

but now I'm at office, I want to connect to the server (local area network) with myserverhostname.no-ip.biz:port instead of the server lan ip 192.168.1.x:port

is it possible? (some decent modem nowadays already support it by default)

I'm using TM's innacom modem, but it's not able to do that, is there a way without changing to a different modem router
