Noticed the battery today.
This battery was for Galaxy Note. Stopped using due to low charge one month ago despite less than 8 mths old. Therefore leave it outside the phone and left on the table with Galaxy Note. Guess what. It swelled!!!

Fast Dormancy / Data Dormancy

Using GSAM, found out that recent battery drain is due to Data Dormancy under Phone App causing my Xperia L keep awake all the time despite screen off. Once it ate 30% of battery life just overnight of doing nothing.
Anyone have any idea regarding this Fast Dormancy issue?

force stop Phone App or Switch off and on after few minutes eliminate this issue but restarted again later

Xperia L on JB stock unrooted

RAM question

My questions are:

1. I have an Acer Aspire 4750G i5 + GT540M with Win7HP 64bit and 4GB DDR3. If I add another 4GB, total 8GB, will there be any significant increase in performance of office applications, web surfing and facebook games/flash?

2. I have an HP Pavilion dm1-4010 netbook E450+HD6320 with Win7Home Basic 64bit and 2GB DDR3. If I add another 4GB, total 6GB, will there be any significant increase in performance of office applications, web surfing and facebook games/flash? Btw, how do I open up the base? cannot find any screws

If I upgrade myself, will it affect the warranty for Acer and HP.

Thanks.
