Hey guys, I need an advice on a co-worker that I am very attracted too.

We're both working in the same department, but with different job functions and we dont directly work with one another, just in a same team.

I got off a relationship of 3 years, though I have already drowned my sorrows, went through emotional distress and I guess I am ready to meet new people again. However, I am stuck in this delimma with my co-worker whom I am very attracted to.

It all started with drinks, then I broke the news of my seperation with my partner, she started texting me on a daily basis, I thought it will be a mixture of work + casual chat, but it went on for days just talking about things in life and normal stuff. I do enjoy talking to her, she's something else. However, I do refrain myself from being too close because she's still in a relationship - her partner lives up North, so they only see each once a week - irregardless, she's still taken.

I dont fall for people easily, especially co-workers. However, she really stood out, not because of her looks but her personality and charisma. She's chirpy, happy go lucky and loud - I am the total opposite, an introvert. I dont talk much to her while in the office, trying to stay professional. We do text one another in office thou.

I know I am not doing the right thing by trying to woo another person's partner, but I cant help it. I am willing to wait for her - despite she had a few disagreements with her partner, she still lives at his place after all. However, I do give her advices on talking it out, talk more to her partner to solve any issues between them.

Whats next for me? Back off or just be the normal friend / co-worker.
