I had tried solutions suggested in some other forums but can&#39;t resolved the problem. So, I decided to ask for help here.<br /><br />The Problem:<br /><br />It&#39;s started when suddenly the PC failed to connect to my workplace network server which is set to provide the IPautomatically. I changed the LAN cable to other port on the SWITCH but still no connection. I plugged in the same cable to other PC and laptops without changing the port a the SWITCH and it works fine. When I plugged the cable again to the Problem PC, it failed to connect. It indicated &quot;No Connection&quot;.<br /><br />Some of the steps that I made in trying to solve it are:<br />- update the adapter driver. <br />- brought it to my computer lab and used other LAN cables and PORTs.<br />- Restore the entire system in C:/<br />- flushdns<br />- scanned for malware and virus<br /><br />After I did all those things, the problem is not resolved.<br />only this morning, it managed to have the network connection to only just ONE port out of 50 LAN ports at my workplace.<br /><br />The PC runs on Win7 Ultimate and using Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet adapter. kancilmerah Technical Support Thu, 26 May 2011 10:21:19 +0800
