Trying to pursue a CS degree

Hi everyone ,

I have finished my SPM with a result of 2A+ , 4A , 2A- , 1B and I am aiming to study in Computer Science in the near future . I am currently decided on 3 different UNI to study in : UTAR , TARC and MMU . However , these schools have vastly different Pre - U and Degree options for me to choose and I have a problem of choosing .

MMU : I applied for the Yayasan TM scholarship and I chose Diploma in Information Technology , is this the optimal choice ? Or should I take Foundation in IT instead . If I got the scholarship , can I continue my scholarship for my degree studies ? Am I bonded to TM ? If so , how long would I need to work there .

UTAR : I applied for Foundation in Science Program as they dont offer Diploma programmes and chose Computer Science as my Degree option . However I heard many " rumours " about companies not liking UTAR degrees .

TARC : I applied for Diploma in SCIENCE (COMPUTER SCIENCE AND COMPUTER MATHEMATICS) and my 2nd option is Foundation in Science , which route would be better actually ? If my 1st option is available , can I study in my 2nd option anyway ?

For anyone that studies in these schools , can you describe the campus condition and quality ? I am living in JB so I don't think I can visit the campuses . If there is other UNI that is more suitable than my choices , kindly suggest them to me .

I am not considering APU though , too expensive for me . ( Can afford but I rather not burden my family too much )

And another huge question , if I apply for Yayasan TM scholarship , do I need to apply for MMU or it is automatically applied ?

Regards ,

A confused 17 year old
