Need advice on suitable accounting software

Hi,

I do not have knowledge in accounting software, thus i need your advice on the suitable fully online accounting software. i am hiring a new accounts clerk to do the accounting for me.

We have a few branches of self service laundry, each will have different sets of account & partnership. I am looking for an accounting software which can provide me the following;

1. A bird eye view summary of the monthly each branch P&L (performance)
2. Share holder can access to each dedicate branch account for view anytime (will not interrupt the account's clerk work)
3. I do not need to back of the database/worry of computer hdd corrupt/stolen
4. GST compliance (plan to apply GST in near future)
5. Able to support multiple branches with different account
6. Integrate with payroll system.

Our stock are located at respective branches (detergent, softener, plastic beg only).

I only came across Sage 1, those selling Sage UBS 9 said Sage 1 is not so stable recommend me not to try.

Please help to advise if any other option for me, or any Sage 1 user, i appreciate your inputs. Thank you.

I've just got a new WD Passport Studio 2TB, 2.5" HDD with firewire 800 port. I want to connect to the DELL D630 firewire 400 (4 pin) port (refer to below sample). Is that possible, and do we have such cable for sale in the market?

The Passport studio mentioned that it's backward compatible with Firewire 400.

Hi guy,

I'm looking for an external drive (min 2TB) which is able to access thru router where everyone can share and stream files to & from the hdd, like Seagate GoFlex Home. Besides that, the hdd must also be access locally thru USB or LAN, because sometimes when I bring around the hdd to other places without router, I'm still able to access the files.

Does anyone knows which brand/model of hdd that I should be using?
