I've been having problem with my bedroom wall. As I'm not the 1st owner of my condo, i don't know what was done to d unit before. After i've painted the wall, shiny spots starting to emerge and even my painter doesn't know what is the cause. After i've scraped the paint off, i found out there's a hole inside filled with sticky greyish playdoh-like structure that's filling the hole. What is this? Can i refill d hole with cement?i've no idea what is d hole for and there's more. How to resolve this?

Door frame gap with the floor

Dear all sifus,

Can you all tell me what should I use to cover the gap between the bottom of the door frame and the floor? I recently changed the tiles and the contractor used cement to cover the gap. He said by right the painter should be the one covering the gap with other materials. So what should I use to cover/finish it? It's kinda ugly now...

Need help with paint problem

I've noticed patches of shining dots on my walls like oils stains. My painter said it's the first time he encountered such problem and he can't fix it. He said he tried to apply a few layers of paints on top also cannot fix. He said could be the previous owner put some glue for picture frame or something like that. But the original wall's painting is ok, without the patches. Is it because my painter didn't do the undercoat correctly? Any way to fix this? The whole wall got these dots and it's forming 2 lines on my wall. [attachmentid=3789085][attachmentid=3789086]
