Can ping FQDN but not NetBIOS name

My DC is Win2003 and using static IP 10.1.1.x/24 in VLAN 1. Others workstation are in VLAN 3 using 10.1.3.x/24. Server farm is using 10.1.1.x/24 in VLAN 1.

I'm trying to ping NetBIOS name of my server but failed except using FQDN. But I managed to ping my DC using both methods. Meaning I ping dc.xyz.com and ping dc got reply but pinging other servers, e.g. sql.xyz.com got reply but not pinging sql only.

When I use other server to ping my DC or other server using NetBIOS or FQDN I get the response. Meaning ping within the same range 10.1.1.x is working but pinging from 10.1.1.x to 10.1.3.x is not working or vice versa.

Any idea?

Web administration (Webmin) for Fedora 6

Hi,

I downloaded webmin (Web administration for unix) RPM package and want to install in my Fedora 6 but i get an error message, "public key for webmin 1.350 xxxx is not installed". Is it the fedora issue or something we need to do with the SSL?

I've tried other RPM package but i get another webmin dependencies error message, need to installed perl-mon or perl-authen-pam something...

The same RPM package is working fine in my OpenSUSE 10.2

Any ideas???
